Adrian 5.0We had a fantastic time in Maisie. The campervan was so well equipped It enabled us to do some wild camping and camp sites. It was comfortable for sleeping. Fraser gave us some added extras camping chairs and table and a bbq. We did the NC500 in her and some of the roads were challenging but the van handled so well. We had a good handover from Elaine who told us everything we needed to know about his things worked in the van. Such a great holiday. Sad to be going home.
Joann 5.0We loved Masie !! There was 3 of us and we did have a lot of stuff including body board, kayak & life vests but this wasnt a problem. The drivers seat and passenger footwell are ideal storage spots while you are sleeping so nothing feels cluttered. The pop up roof allows you to stand up and move around with ease, and then just pull the top bed down for sleeping. We did get electric hook up when we camped but this wasnt needed as we charged our phones while driving the solar panels provided enough electricity for the fridge. We didnt want to do the popular routes so the majority of our trip was small single track roads that Masie handled with ease, including the Applecross Pass TWICE!! Although Masie does have a hob, grill & oven, and sink we only used the hob and done the dishes in the wash bowl Fraser and his wife provided. Fraser explained everything we needed to know about the van when we collected her and even demonstrated how to put the roof up and down. We also left our car with them so no worrying where youre going to park. Would definitely hire Masie again.
Samuel 5.0We had a wonderful time exploring the NC500 in Maisie, just the right size for the 2 of us and capable of going anywhere we wanted to. We were picked up and dropped off at Elgin train station and had great communication with Fraser before, during and after (he posted something we left behind back to us :-)). As we had arrived in Inverness by train we hired bedding and towels too. A suggestion of proper cutlery rather than plastic picnic cutlery and some more cooking utensils would be helpful. Maisie came with an oven which meant we were able to cook regardless of the weather. A very enjoyable experience and would definitely do it again. Thank you.
Harry 5.0Me and my partner just rented this van for 5 nights and did the famous NC500 route. The van was perfect to do such a trip. It drives very well and is similar to driving a big car, its the ideal size in order to navigate the roads on the NC500. The van is also very new and modern which all adds to a positive experience. It has a pop roof which created more room and makes the van feel very spacious. Communicating with Fraser was smooth and efficient throughout. He answered all our questions and even allowed time for a phone call to clear up any questions we had. Fraser was able to provide bedding at request. He kindly picked us up and dropped us off at Elgin station which was very helpful. The van has a gas hob (which is ideal for making a coffee or tea in the morning), sink, small grill/oven and fridge. It has solar panel on the roof which keeps the battery charged. We didnt need to get an electric hook up pitch at the campsites but if you do there is a cable provided for this. Fraser provided chairs, small bbq and beach bag. Before we set off on the trip, Fraser took time to show us around the van and demonstrated how it all works. He also sent us a demonstration video from the company that made the van which was a useful tool to have. I would highly recommend this van and would definitely use it again for any future trips to the Scottish highlands. The highlands are unbelievable part of the world and exploring in a van is the way to do it. Fraser was a pleasure to deal with.
