Vintage Caravan in peaceful, off the beaten track location next to a large mature pond, within Mid Wales (SY19, close to Machynlleth and Llanidloes, 7 miles). A remote flavour, a place to unwind and get away from the hussle and bustle of life.

The caravan will sleep 3 (2x adults 1x child). For larger families you are most welcome to also pitch a tent (FOC). It provides gas cooker/ gas fridge/ 12v lighting/ camping toilet / cold water/ gas heater and an optional full width vintage awning (extra one off charge £45)

Off the beaten track, completely away from any roads, promoting privacy and seclusion.

Numerous walks near the river and over the hills onto the Glyndŵr’s Way, fantastic views of rolling green hills. Lots of them, and beautiful panoramas.

The Caravan (Polly):
Provides a gas cooker/ gas fridge/ 12v lighting/ camping toilet / cold water/ gas heater and an optional vintage awning (one off £45) which spans the full width.

Beds:
Cozy double bed with mattress topper which converts to dinette/ seating area for meal times (seats 4 people).
Single bed (4ft long) suitable for a small child aged up to 4/5 years which converts to a two seater sofa. Warm duvets and pillows are provided

Kitchen area:
Small sink and drainer with pumped cold water, Gas oven with 2 rings and a grill, fridge and ample plates, mugs, cutlery, pots & pans, glasses, recipe books etc.

WC: Toilet room with camping toilet. No shower. Please bring your own towels.

Storage for clothes and essentials.

Heating: Gas heater.

Other: board games also provided!

Access
The site is off-grid, surrounded by trees and a lake in which to enjoy. There is a lockable gate at the entrance which leads to the field.

I give my guests space but am available when needed

Other
This is an off-grid private setting. There is no electrical hook-up. A 12v battery powers the lights along with twinkle leds, torch light and the campfire.

It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet, and watch the night stars which are magical. A tranquil, space if you want peace, quiet and privacy.

Locally, the charming towns of Llanidloes and Machynlleth host Co-Op, Spar, Pharmacy, Sports Centre with pool and Gym, numerous Cafe's, Pubs and places to eat, fish and chips, kebabs, curry, Chinese ... etc.

Neighbourhood
The hamlet of Staylittle is in the middle of Llanidloes and Machynlleth, around 15/20 mins either way. The Hafren Forest is a five minute drive which has incredible walking, mountain biking paths to investigate. The GB rally passes through the forest every Oct/Nov and is a sight to see.

In the Spring a small section of the forest is coned off, due to a pair of Osprey that return every year to nest and rear their young. There is a special hide that has been set up for visitors to see their nest if you bring your binoculars.

Getting around
A car is essential as there is no public transport nearby.

The nearest train station is located in Machynlleth and provides connections to Pwllheli, including Barmouth and Aberystwyth. And in the other direction through to Shrewbury and Birmingham Int'l stations.
