ABOUT MY VW CALIFORNIA OCEAN Pick up/drop off in South Manchester, perfect for the Lake District, Snowdonia, the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and the mighty hills of Scotland. You can leave your car parked on my street, I'm very familiar with Snowdonia and the Lakes - can definitely offer some good advice if you are looking for spots. The van is perfect for almost any trip but please be aware that the longer your trip is the more miles go on the engine. So I have a guideline of about 100 miles per day. This can be spread over a trip and after 500miles, I charge just 25p per mile at the end of the trip. FEATURES KITCHEN AND DINING - Factory-fitted VW kitchenette - 42L top-loading fridge + double gas burner (gas included). - Powered tap and sink with 30L fresh + 30L grey water tanks - Cookware, espresso maker, short wine glasses, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, utensils. - Eat dinner inside or out - there are 4 x seats and a table indoors, 2 x outdoor camping chairs and a outside table. - Cleaning - hand wash, spray, detergent, bug spray, dustpan/brush + recycling, and waste tubs SLEEPING - VW Comfort mattress downstairs with fitted sheet. Duvet and pillows are included. - VW Comfort mattress in pop-top with fitted sheet. Duvet and pillows are included. OFF-GRID - Leisure battery. - Diesel heater. STORAGE - VW kitchenette, wardrobe, rear shelving, large drawer under the rear seats, large cupboard above read door. LOCATION - Pick up in South Manchester. Pick-up/drop-off outside work hours on weekdays, anytime on weekends. SERVICE FEE - Covers the amenities, full disinfect, cleaning and small damages. EXTRAS - Ask for anything, I will likely be able to provide! FAQ - - Can I park at your house? Yes, there is on-street parking in our safe street - Can we do a long drive? 100 miles per day is included, after that, I charge 25p per mile for vehicle maintenance

Hiring rules

• No offroad unsealed roads must be approved first. Please be aware
• No smoking inside
• No pets OR pets only upon application
• No festivals (unless preapproved)
• Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
• Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises / overnight / leaving the van
• RV must return cleaned or risk a fee
• No freecamping
• 100 miles perday allowance
• EMERGENCY
• If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 0330 808 1811 / call the number of the breakdown service provider provided to you / call me!
• DAMAGE
• If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
• LONG TRIPS
• Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 100 miles a day with a maximum of 700 miles included in a 7day hire. After 700 miles, you will be charged 25p per mile at the completion of the trip from your bond.
• FUEL
• Return full of DIESEL All hires include a full tank upon departure.
• CLEANING
• Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
• COOKING GAS
• Included in the hire

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  We had a fantastic trip for two nights. It was our first experience in a camper and Dans van was the perfect introduction. Well equipped and to a high standard the van was very comfortable. Dan was especially friendly and helpful, we spoke prior to collection to get advice about where to stay and how to make the most of our trip and upon collection he showed us around the van which made it really easy to use for the first time . We would highly recommend hiring from him.

  Had a great time in this van. You can tell Dan has looked after it immaculately, it drives great and all kit he provides in it makes hire and travel easy comfortable and convient. Dan's communication was great, making pick up and drop off easy. He also gave us a heads up about any little quirks or issues the van may have so we knew exactly what to expect with it.
