Welcome to my newly imported and converted luxury Toyota Alphard pop-top camper. They are used in Japan as high level luxury limos, so safe, lots of space and very comfortable. The rear conversion is of a high standard and allows more internal width for seating and sleeping, and will accommodate two adults upto 6ft 4inches in height, and one adult or two children in the pop-top roof. The pop-top roof which is an amazing place to sleep or just chill will sleep two children or one adult, or can be used as storage when on site. The rear bench seat can be swivelled to face forward when driving and reversed backwards when on site to face the other two seats and table. The conversion is high-spec and includes storage cabinets, a 2 gas hob cooker, compressor fridge/freezer, running cold tap with sink, 12v usb sockets, 240v plug sockets (when on electric hook-up), voltmeter to read leisure battery power, ceiling downlights and led under-counter lights, black-out blinds for privacy and bedtime, audio visual phone connection to the stereo and sat-nav. Alfie is all-wheel drive with winter tyres so no chance of getting stuck in a campsite, very safe with auto gearbox, steering wheel controls, electric windows, air-con front and back, rear camera, vehicle tracker & immobiliser for security. Powered doors on both sides gives easy access and rear conversion means you can cook and make your morning tea from the back underneath the tailgate with no fear of getting wet. Space for 4 in Alfie is tight to carry everything needed and the awning or a small tent (available options) will be needed to sleep (if 4 adults) and store luggage/kit. Otherwise for 4 people we often take a car in addition to Alfie which means all the kit can be carried and gives flexibility when on site for day trips and going to the shops. Space for 3 or less will be fine to fit everything in whilst driving and the awning or a tent is still recommended to give space to store when on site.

Additional information

Insurance is already taken care of and included in the price. Options for more kit to rent is available such as drive-away awning tent, solar power if going off-grid, hammock and thermal blinds for colder nights.

Hiring rules

Treat well and keep as clean as possible so others can enjoy the Alfie adventure.
Alfie will be cleaned and disinfected after each hire.
No smoking.
Preagreed destinations.
Mileage limited to 120 miles per day averaged out over the trip and 40p per mile excess surcharge.
Solar panel, driveaway awning, porta potti, plus lots of other smaller extras just ask and we can help having learnt from experience and need to save on space.
Space for 4 in Alfie is tight to carry everything needed and the awning or a small tent (available options) will be needed to sleep (if 4 adults) and store luggage/kit. I also have a tow bar box to take luggage for additional fee. Otherwise we often take a car in addition to Alfie which means all the kit can be carried and gives flexibility when on site for day trips and going to the shops.

Refundable Accident Excess

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The bond for this van depends on the owner's insurance policy. Please ask the owner for the amount after your booking request. Camplify will charge you up to this amount per damage event on behalf of the owner.

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel up to 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 20 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Alfie (and Gavin!) helped us out in a pinch at very short notice when our new camper wasnt ready for our holiday. Gavin was very accommodating and did everything he could to make sure we got away without any problems. We had a great time, and couldnt have gone at all without Gavins great communication and prompt responses.
