Hiring rules

• Please read the terms and conditions of the rental agreement thoroughly.
• Hirer is to sign owner’s pre and post hire checklists and Camplify paperwork i.e. insurance
• Full driving licence is required (the driver must have been driving for a minimum of 10 years)
• Treat the van well at all times and keep it clean and tidy
• Hirers will be asked to sign an inventory of all the items provided in the van on handover
• Drive it carefully at all times ensure you are familiar with how to drive it before you drive off i.e. read the owner guidance notes carefully
• No smoking or vapes permitted in the van
• Destination/s and approximate mileage is to be preagreed with the owner
• There is a limit of 100 miles per day averaged out over the hire period, this is to reduce wear and tear
• MAXIMUM MILEAGE is 300 miles in total for the hire (unless otherwise agreed)
• Excess mileage charged +25p per mile excess mileage surcharge payable to the owner
• A full tank of fuel is provided on handover by the owner
• The hirer is to return the van with the same full tank of fuel
• No offroad driving (except with care for positioning the van on grass pitches at camp sites)
• We try our best to accommodate pick up and drop off times to suit you.
• Once date and times atrbagreed we ask you to stick to them otherwise a late charge will apply (+£20.00 per hour)
• Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
• Please note that the hirer will be liable for all costs associated with:
• additional mileage (not approved)
• parking & speeding fines, ULEZ charges
• toll fees
• fuel
• late returns
• Hirer will be responsible for all damage to the van including:
• the exterior (bumpers, panels, wing mirrors, overhead, windows and awnings)
• the van interior (beds, blinds & cupboards)
• fuel related damage e.g. wrong fuel, fuel in the water tank
• electrical and or gas related issues
• missing or damaged items
• Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
