VW T5 Campervan aka ‘Quantum’, offers a unique and comfortable adventure experience. The conversion is only four years old. Quantum is equipped with many features including: a pop-up roof, kitchen unit with a two-hob burner, sink, fridge/freezerbox and heating for colder months. It comfortably sleeps four people (2 adults + 2 small children or three adults. The maximum load for the upper sleeping space is 95 KG or 15 stones. Quantum includes amenities such as bedding, a bike rack, dining tent, folding table and chairs, toilet/shower tent, portaloo and camping shower. We also offer additional equipment such as a 12 volt TV, paddle board and bikes, at a reasonable cost.

Additional information

The campervan will accommodate two adults using the lower sleeping area and two children with a maximum combined weight of 95kg for the upper sleeping area. The campervan is equipped for off grid/ wild camping, however the hirer would have to travel between destinations no more than two days in order to recharge the leisure battery as the fridge draws the most amount of current when stationary. There are many campsites throughout Scotland that offer electric hookup, showers and sanitation. If you need advice and help locating campsites, I’m happy to make suggestions and recommendations?

Hiring rules

  • No smoking
  • No spicey cooking inside the van.
  • No pets over 12 KG. Request only upon application
  • No festivals
  • Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
  • Empty waste water
  • No frying with oil inside the van (use barbecue provided)
  • Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required
  • Extra Charges
  • Mileage is limited to 140miles per day max or 1000 miles for a 7 day hire. An additional charge of 0.45p per mile after will apply.
  • Standard pickup time 1pm
  • dropoff times are 10am
  • Unless previously agreed, late drop off will incur a late penalty charge of £20.00 per hour.
  • Vehicle must be returned relatively clean or you’ll risk an additional cleaning fee of £20.00 for excessive cleaning.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel up to 7 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
  • Cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    5/5, had everything you needed even a pint of milk in the fridge along with coffee and tea. John offered us a stand up paddle board as well which was lovely but the weather wasnt meant to be.
