  Hired out Big Bill this bank holiday weekend with a trip to Anglesey. Booking was very simple and efficient. The camper was clean, in good condition and it had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. We slept very comfortably. Big thank you to Dani & James.   We had a fantastic weekend in this van, it was clean and as expected from the listing. The inside was clean, tidy and set up ready to leave. Dani showed us how to use the awning, pop the top and pointed to where the water could be refilled. Once we were at our destination and ready to fill up with water we realised there wasnt a key for the lock. Dani replied quickly but this wasn't a problem as we just used a water carrier instead. The knob on the gas bottle to turn on and off didn't work as it had been rounded off inside so we just bought a set of pliers to do this, not a major issue. Overall Big Bill is a fantastic van, very reliable, a little dated on the dashboard so make sure if you're using a phone for satnav you have a battery charger with you. The interior lay out is perfect and very clean, cupboards for storage and the bed is very comfortable. This is an ideal van for 2 people to comfortably travel around in.

  My son and I had a fantastic short break in Skye with Big Bill. He's a cool looking van (we had a few admiring comments on the campsite) and was a joy to drive on Scotlands roads. His infotainment system is quite dated with an old usb connection that we didnt have and a bluetooth connection that took a bit of figuring out but worked well once sorted. What he lacks in hi-tec gizmos of modern vans he more than makes up for in character. Camping worked well although utensils, like all hire vans, were quite basic. Fortunately we took a few home comforts like cereal bowls. colander, sieve, for rice and pasta dishes. It rained 3 of the 5 nights and on the last night it was horrendous with persistent driving rain which resulted in some drips from the canopy seal mainly around the driver and passenger area- but nothing that caused us to get wet while sleeping. TBF I think any campervan would have been tested in those conditions and we felt sorry for those in tents. Comms with Big Bill's owners were excellent with swift and helpful responses. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our adventures in Skye with Big Bill. He gave us some memorable experiences we'd cerainly hire him again.
