Welcome to Leo! Leo is the ultimate happy holiday camper, well equipped with provisions for individuals, couples or family campers. He comes with your choice of equipment at no additional cost. Options include: sunshade awning, drive-away tent, bike rack (carries 3 bikes), camping chairs, stools, mattress topper, microfibre pillows, blow up bed (for tent), camping toilet, fan, compact heater, compact travel towels, and more (if there is something you need, please just ask). He is a lean, green, adventuring machine with a conscience. While you are exploring on four diesel-driven wheels, Leo will carbon offset your adventure miles at no cost to you, and is stocked with environmentally friendly products. Leo's optional drive-away tent is 3m x 3m and provides extra play/chill room during the day and has an optional inner sleeping-pod which can sleep 2 people, as well as additional annexe room that can be attached to the tent and used as a bedroom and can also fit a double blow-up mattress The tent, plus the van, means Leo can sleep up to 6 people. A top of the range Caledonian Campers conversion he has all the VW favourites: - Double rock n’ roll bed - Pop top double bunk bed - Swivel front bench seat - Fridge-freezer - Twin gas hob - Sink with running water - Internal and external tables - Reading light and pop top colour strip lighting - Insulated windscreen cover for night time - Windows all round (with blackout curtains) - Leisure battery and campsite hook up cable - 3 pin plug socket, extension lead and 4 USB sockets - Bluetooth stereo - Universal phone holder and charging leads (micro USB, USBC, iphone) Leo lives between St Neots and Huntingdon and can pick hirers up from either train station. We do also consider airport pick ups, you can message us to discuss. You are also welcome to keep his spot on our driveway warm for him with your own car while you are away. We are close to the A1, M1 and M11. The A1 goes from London to Edinburgh, meaning you can get to the mountainous views of Scotland in an easy 6 hour drive, the Yorkshire Dales in 3 hours and the Peak District in 2 hours. Thetford Forest and the Chiltern Hills can be reached in around 1 hour, the scenic Norfolk Coast in 2 hours, and the lush green hills of Wales in 3 hours. Scroll down for more info! Happy Camping! Additional information

Leo's power supply will last around 3 days if camping off-grid. The fridge draws the most power, but taking battery packs to charge portable devices, and driving him around during the day will help preserve battery power and recharge him. The 3-pin plug socket in Leo only works if you are connected to an electric hook-up at a campsite. The fridge, and the multiple USB sockets work off-grid.

Hiring rules

Pick up and drop off times can be negotiated at time of booking, though are subject to owners availability.
Leo will come with a full tank of diesel fuel, please refill him
Hirers must be able to provide proof of no penalties on their driver's licence
Hirers must be over 25
No smoking in Leo
If you have taken the camping toilet please return it nice and clean.
Leo will be handed to you spic and span, please make sure he is clean on his return.
Adventures have a mileage allowance of 125 miles per day (for example, a 4 day booking would have 500 miles), then a charge of 15p per mile after that.
If you are taking a doggy please use doggy blankets on the upholstery.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel up to 7 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Van is great. The tent needs some minor repairs. Rebecca is great at communicating and offers a lot of extras with the van, including bedding. Highly recommended.

We've had the best week in Leo, exploring the UK. He is a cracker of a van and Rebecca has thought of absolutely everything you could need. Very comfortable to drive and sleep in. We will absolutely look to hire him again in the future!

Leo is very well equipped, everything you will need for camping. The van is easy to drive, small enough to park in the city but enough space for sleeping. Our first camper van experience couldn't be better. Rebecca is a fantastic person, gave us all information we need. Highly recommend.
