• Insurance
• • Any damage to the vehicle will result in the security deposit being deducted from depending on extent of damage, allowing for fair wear and tear.
• • A fully refundable Security deposit is £100.000 to be cleared by the day of hire, either by Bank Transfer on the day or card payment 1 week before by bank/credit card. The camper will not be released without receipt of this deposit. Photos will be taken, and a full inventory will be carried out at the beginning and end of each hire.
• • Tyres, wheels and windscreen are not covered by insurance and any damage will need to be paid for by the Hirer.
• • Minor external damage/scratches are not covered by insurance and need to be paid for by hirer. The same applies to internal damage/scratches.
• • The Insurance covers 2 people per hire (subject to terms), there is a charge for any additional drivers.
• • Breakdown cover included in Insurance.
• • Failure to provide correct information could invalidate the Insurance and Hirer would become liable for all repair costs.
• • Insurance for fire is covered.
• • Lost or damaged items from inside the vehicle will be charged to the hirer.
• • Any extras for the hire e.g. awnings, bike racks etc are not covered by the Insurance and any loss or damage will be charged to the hirer.
• • Loss/theft of camper with keys left in the vehicle whilst vehicle unattended is not covered by the insurance and hirer will be liable.
• Drivers
• • Hire is subject to licence checks for all drivers.
• • Age between 25 and 75 as per Insurance
• • Drivers must have held a valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• • Occupation must be declared on booking form as this could impact insurance cover
• • Physical licence must be shown on day of collection.
• General
• • Pick up time is 3pm and drop off is 11am. Extended times are available at additional cost. £40.00 per hour will be charged for any un agreed late drop off. We frequently have same day turn arounds, so it is important to stick to agreed times. Any additional costs incurred by next hirer due to delays will be passed on to late hirer. If unavoidably delayed, hirer should contact Beachlifecampervanhire at earliest opportunity.
• • Camper should be returned in similar condition to how it was collected. Whilst not expected to be thoroughly cleaned, effort should be made. If it is returned in a poor condition a cleaning fee of £50.00 will be charged as this could delay the next hirer.
• • Camper will be handed over with a full tank of diesel and should be returned full.
• • Cost of lost or damaged keys will be passed to hirer.
• • Hirer is liable for any speeding, parking, toll fines that are incurred during their hire. Any fines received will be invoiced to hire and should be paid within 14 days of receipt.
• • Hirer must stay aware of height restrictions as any damage to property will be their responsibility and Beachlifecampervanhire will not be liable.
• • The pop top roof is not covered by the insurance. A full walk round will be given at pick up. If damage is incurred due to failing to follow instruction given the hirer is liable for repairs.
• • Only one discount code can be used per insurance.
• • We recommend that the hirer takes out holiday insurance to cover themselves and their belongings over the hire period as these will not be covered by our insurance.
• • A mattress protector and fitted sheet is provided for both beds. Other bedding can be provided at small additional cost.
• • Insurance covers UK and Europe, if you are taking the van to Beachlifecampervanhire must be made aware as additional documentation is required from us.
• • Pets are welcome
• • No smoking or vaping inside the vans. The additional cleaning fee will be applied if there is evidence of smoking inside the camper.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £1,000.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

  Brilliant! Sophie provided lots of thoughtful extras in the van, such as tea, coffee, washing up provisions. The van drove beautifully, everything worked. So many extras on Gertie including an extra comfy mattress. Sophie is a delight to hire from. A perfect weekend away.

  We had a fabulous holiday in the van! Sophie was wonderful and provided everything we needed, great communication throughout and very accommodating. The van was practically new and ran like a dream. We were first-time UK campervanners bringing two young kids with us and couldn't have asked for more - the kids had a ball. Can't thank you enough Sophie!

  Myself, my husband and dog had a fantastic 3 nights away in Gertie. It was very windy with sunshine and showers, so great to get out and about then dive back into the van for a cuppa when the rain came. Once parked for the night, the roof went up and front seats spun round to create plenty of space to make simple meals (Sophie had made sure everything we needed for cooking and preparing food was included like, a kettle, pans, sharp knives, chopping boards and importantly, two large wine glasses and bottle opener). The top loading fridge was actually so good, we inadvertently froze the water! Turned this down easily and had plenty of room to keep food and drink cold and fresh. The bed unfolded easily and was comfy and roomy enough for us (our dog mostly slept on the spun around chair). All the seats were well protected against marks etc with covers. Although we didnt use it, the roof top bed was also roomy for at least one adult and had great lighting, vents and windows up there. The blinds kept the van reasonably dark, enough for us anyway, we were offered a windscreen cover which would have ensured a much darker night. The media and lighting were atmospheric, music was playing loud enough but still couldnt be heard outside the van. Loads of cleaver storage areas with outside table and two chairs also tucked away. Loads of admirers of the van especially when parked up at the beaches.
