Abbey

This is our gorgeous caravan Abbey. She’s a good sized spacious 2 berth caravan, with a large seating / dining area which converts to a double bed. There is a full size cooker with oven, grill and 4 hobs. A fridge with freezer compartment, and a sink. There is a separate spacious bathroom with a toilet, basin, large storage cupboard with wardrobe and an enclosed shower. There is a heater in case it gets cold. Abbey is connected to an electric hook up, so there are lights, sockets for charging phones, boiling the kettle etc. Absolutely loads of storage space. Sleeps 2 adults very comfortably and possibly an additional 1 or 2 small children, if you are happy to have them in bed with you! (If you would like to accommodate more of you, we do have the option of pitching a large bell tent which sleeps up to 6 next to Abbey - please contact us to discuss this option and cost). There is a full size awning which comes in very handy for extra storage and is just as useful for shade when it’s sunny as it is for shelter when the weather isn’t as good! Abbey comes equipped with all of the basics, including pans, plates, cups and cutlery etc. We ask you to bring your own bedding and towels. For a small extra cost we can provide the following: Bedding and towels if required. A fire pit and kindling, logs and fires starters if required. Outside furniture, table and chairs and windbreaker if required. More bespoke items such as body boards, bicycles, surf board and paddle boards may be available. Please contact us if you would like to include any of these additional items and we will be happy to provide a bespoke cost for you. If you have any other needs please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you! Abbey is based at Farmer Phil’s Campsite, a small rural and peaceful campsite just 10 minutes away from Bude in Cornwall. All you need to do is turn up, Abbey will be all set up for you. Farmer Phil’s Campsite is a peaceful back-to-basics site on a working farm in north Cornwall. A 10-minute drive from the beaches and watersports of Bude. Barbecues welcome on site and farm shops and a supermarket and restaurants within a 10-minute drive. The site is a large grass field offering generous-sized pitches. If you want a peaceful rural retreat surrounded by open farmland and you’d like to be only about a 10-minute drive from the seaside, then this is the place for you. Farmer Phil’s Campsite is about as country as they come, being a 75-acre farm with cows and sheep, and surrounded by quiet farmland. Farm shops and a supermarket are about a 10-minute drive away, and you’re welcome to light up a barbecue back at your peaceful farm base. And those beaches? Well, they’re fine specimens in and around Bude, around 10 minutes’ drive away. There’s surfing, golf, watersports and walking trails galore in and around town too, and the local area is equally well supplied with family-friendly days out. Being a fan of quiet countryside times, Farmer Phil hasn’t overly developed his site, installing just the essentials in his amenities area: toilet and shower facilities, plus a kitchen with microwave, freezer and washing-up area.
