OVERVIEW This luxury Roller Team Zefiro 696 is a 4 berth, 5 travel seats, manual, 2 ltr diesel Ford Transit with a 170bhp engine. It has cruise control, cab air conditioning, bluetooth, driver and passenger airbags, and height adjustable driver and passenger seats. There is a reversing camera, and it has a very high driving position allowing amazing visibility of the road ahead. There is a 4 cycle bike rack at the rear, and a large fixed adjustable awning to the side. There is a leisure battery, blinds, flyscreens, touch lights, skylights, double glazing, electric heated mirrors, front windows, steering control, fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide alarm. It has a solar panel which charges the leisure battery during the day, allowing you to stay longer in areas with no electric hook-up. It carries 40l fresh and waste water tanks, and has a cassette toilet. There is heating throughout which can be powered by an electric hookup, or using the propane gas cylinders (supplied with the hire). It has a large garage which can be used for storage of a motorbike or watersport equipment. In addition, outdoor furniture (foldable garden chairs and a table) can be provided free of cost with the hire if requested. The garage can double up as a kennel or as an additional sleeping area (a mattress can be provided for this). SLEEPING The fixed rear double island bed is a roomy kingsize 1.9m x 1.5m with underbed storage. The height of the bed is adjustable depending on how much storage area you need in the garage below. It has two bedside tables and two wardrobes with hangars all closed off by a sliding to door give a level of privacy. A 22inch tv on the wall connected to a freeview aerial. There is an additional drop down double bed above the dining area with a motorised drop down mechanism. This bed measures 2m long x 1.35m at its widest. This bed can be left made up during the day, so at night-time all you need to do is press the down button, and voila – a ready made bed. There is a garage that can double up as a sleeping area. An additional mattress can be made available on request if required. WC AND SEPARATE SHOWER The shower and toilet are separate, and the rear bedroom area can be closed off The Shower also has an hook in the ceiling to hang any wet coats WC with mirror, towel rail and ample storage. LIVING AREA The L shaped lounge has a white leather interior, and has seating for up to five people during the day and the driver and passenger seats swivel to face the table.. KITCHEN The kitchen is equipped with a 3 ring hob, an oven, a sink with hot and cold mixer tap, a food preparation area, fridge-freezer, and all the equipment you need for a lovely holiday away, including:- Crockery – dinner plates, small plates, bowls, mugs Cutlery – knives, forks, spoons, teaspoons, ladle, fish slice, tin and bottle opener, kitchen knives, scissors, ladle, wooden spoon. Pots and pans – frying pan, large saucepan, milk pan, colander, sieve, baking tray, Skiddle, hob toast maker. Cleaning – washing up liquid, scouring pads, brush, cloths, collapsible bowl, cleaning fluid. Condiments – salt, pepper, ketchup, mayonnaise, vegetable oil, mustard. Tea making facilities – low wattage electric kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar OUTSIDE There is a 4 bike bicycle rack to the rear, and a large awning above the side door. Garden chairs and table can be provided, and I also have access to a firepit and some wood if requested. BED LINEN Bed linen and towels can be included at an extra charge of £25.00 per booking. SAFETY AND SECURITY The is a Smoke/CO2 alarm that is tested weekly, a fire blanket in the kitchen area, and a powder fire extinguisher in the living area. A steering lock can be provided at no additional cost if the home is likely to parked in publicly accessible areas and left unattended. HANDOVER There will be a full detailed handover to explain how everything works. I will also be taking lots of photos and pointing out any existing damage. Feel free to take photos yourself EXTRAS - NO EXTRA COST (AVAILABLE ON REQUEST) Garden chairs and a table are available, an additional mattress should you wish to use the garage as a sleeping area, a suction mobile phone holder on the windscreen, a steering lock, and a pop-up gazebo are all available on request at no additional cost. GETTING HERE I have off street parking available for the duration of your trip, so you can drive to Eastleigh for handover, then drive the Explorer to the destination of your choice. Alternatively, I can pick you up from Eastleigh or Southampton Airport Parkway stations, or even Southampton Airport. I can also drive the Explorer to a nearby campsite for handover if you aren’t confident driving her. However, there will be an additional cost associated with this to cover my return taxi. MILEAGE 100 miles/day is covered within the hire fee. However, additional miles will be charged at £0.15/mile. DISCOUNTS Discounts are available local low mileage hires. FESTIVALS Festivals are allowed, but there may be a cleaning fee applicable on return – depending on how muddy the Explorer gets. PETS As described above, pets are allowed and there is a garage that can double up as a kennel. However, no pets are allowed on the leather upholstery. DRIVING LICENCE REQUIREMENTS The Gross vehicle weight is 3500 kg, so anyone with a valid UK drivers Licence can drive it. However, due to the insurance requirement, all drivers must be over 23 years of age. DIMENSIONS Length: 7.45m, Height: 2.95m, Width: 2.35m TEMPORARY NOTE There is currently some cosmetic damage to the rear passenger side garage door and rear lighting unit. I have uploaded a photo of the damage. The van is still driveable, and I am looking to get the damage repaired as soon as possible, although getting parts is proving more tricky than anticipated.

  If I could give minus stars I would. We spent an hour cleaning the van before we set off. The seats are ingrained with dirt that wouldn't come out, the roof vents thick with dirt, there was mould on the fly screens. The fridge door locks are broken, the awning is also broken. Did not hire expecting perfection but did expect an acceptable standard of hygiene, cleanliness and safety. The state of this van was far from acceptable and I would not recommend it to anyone.
