Hiring rules

• To ensure a smooth hiring process please:
• Return with full tank of diesel. If it is not on max then there is a £50.00 charge plus the cost of filling up the tank. Petrol station near pickup point.
• Return with a clean & empty toilet.A charge of £75.00 is payable otherwise.
• Empty the grey waste tank.A charge of £30.00 applies if not empty.
• Return in a clean and tidy condition. This means tidying any rubbish away and cleaning surfaces.Cleaning charge of £50.00 if the vehicle is not left as you found it.
• No smoking.If there are any smells or signs of smoking then a £100.00 fine applies.
• There is a £100.00 fine if there are signs of pets that have not been booked.A blanket must be used if pets sit on any furniture.
• Look after the van. Payment will be taken for any damage not there when you picked up the vehicle.
• Duvets, pillows, sheets, duvet covers and towels are not provided with the motorhome as standard. If you specifically require these items or are travelling from abroad please let us know and these can be provided at a charge of £60.00 regardless of the number of guests.
• If you wish to leave your vehicle here whilst you hire our motorhome, then there is parking on the street. Our drive will unfortunately be unavailable for use during your trip.
• The following people are not able to hire out the motorhome:
• a) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
• b) Jockeys and persons connected with racing, gaming industry or press of any sort.
• c) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons holding a full UK/EU license for 2 years or more.
• d) People over 79 years old
• e) No single sex groups
• The following documentation is required:
• 1) Please obtain a check code so that we can validate your driving license. We will advise how to do this when you book.Failure to do this will result in you not being able to hire the motorhome.
• 2) Your plastic photo card drivers’ licence (address & ID must be up to date)
• 3) In addition, two proofs of address from separate sources (examples available on request)

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £750.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

  We had an amazing experience renting The escape pod over the weekend! Simon was absolutely brilliant super friendly, helpful, and organised from start to finish. Pick-up and drop-off were really easy and well coordinated. The motorhome itself was spotless clean, tidy, and really well looked after. It had everything we needed and made our trip so comfortable.
