LOCATION: Hook ,RG27 9EF WHAT TO EXPECT: *Cyril is fully kitted out and has everything you need. For a campervan, he is spacious. Being a retro camper expect a compact bathroom, analog vs digital and mechanical vs computerised. Just like pop's old camper!! INSURANCE: To rent our campervan, you'll need to get your own campervan hire insurance. Prices start from £15.00 per day depending on your personal details and driving history. CLEANINING: IMPORTANT: Cleaning fee includes basic valet inside carpets and outside wash plus topping up the gas and sundries DOES NOT INCLUDE EMPTYING GREY WATER, TOILET OR TOPPING FUEL.

Hiring rules

• Please keep Cyril clean and tidy and return him the way you collected him (water tank full, waste water empty, toilet empty, surfaces and floors wiped down)
• No smoking indoors

  Great comms with Warren and prompt replies throughout the pre-hire period as well as the duration of the hire. Cyril has all the features described and was perfectly reliable during our trip. He is narrow enough to fit down smaller lanes without worry and does indeed fit into a parking space (just), unlike some other motorhomes & campervans. Cyril is a ~30 year old van and does drive very much like a van of that age.

  Great communication from Warren before and during the trip. Cyril was as described, vintage and quirky, just as expected! We had such a great time in the van. We hired Cyril as a try before you buy and we loved it so much that were now searching for a Talbot Express to buy!

  Cyril is an excellent vintage experience packed full of great amenities. Once we understood how to use everything within the van our experience was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Warren was super helpful and always available to offer a hand or answer any questions.

  We had a great long weekend stay in Cyril. The van was fun and quirky and way more exciting than hiring a more modern camper. The YouTube videos were very helpful and Warren was very supportive when we had questions. Once we got the hang of it, everything was working as needed. We would definitely hire Cyril again!

  We had an adventure! It started with a van called Cyril. We decided he was having an identity crisis so renamed her Sybil. As it turned out it was very appropriate. Sybil is the engine carrying Forty Towers on wheels! We fixed and bodged our way through the week with reliable Sybil taking on dales and peaks she had never seen. We were not certain she would make it, with much crunching of gears on the first day. There was no hurry so we took it steady, 3 ol' girls together. I think Sybil appreciated that.
