Great comms with Warren and prompt replies throughout the pre-hire period as well as the duration of the hire. Cyril has all the features described and was perfectly reliable during our trip. He is narrow enough to fit down smaller lanes without worry and does indeed fit into a parking space (just), unlike some other motorhomes & campervans. Cyril is a ~30 year old van and does drive very much like a van of that age.

Great communication from Warren before and during the trip. Cyril was as described, vintage and quirky, just as expected! We had such a great time in the van. We hired Cyril as a try before you buy and we loved it so much that were now searching for a Talbot Express to buy!

Cyril is an excellent vintage experience packed full of great amenities. Once we understood how to use everything within the van our experience was great and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Warren was super helpful and always available to offer a hand or answer any questions.

Wonderful time in Moonraker! The owners have been excellent at communicating all of the information needed, and are super responsive if you need them. The location of the van is private and secure, and I felt comfortable leaving my car there, and there's enough room to easily manoeuvre the van (which can be a bit scary with an unfamiliar vehicle). We took it to a festival and it easily made its way across a field (the tyres are great for this) and felt secure once the handbrake was on. The. bed is a bit stiff to move in and out, but we were prepared for this as we'd watched the video. We didn't use any other facilities (toilet, hob, water) so I can't comment on those, but we thought it was great.

We had a great long weekend stay in Cyril. The van was fun and quirky and way more exciting than hiring a more modern camper. The YouTube videos were very helpful and Warren was very supportive when we had questions. Once we got the hang of it, everything was working as needed. We would definitely hire Cyril again!

First time we'd used a camper van and both in our 60s. We just used it as a base for a party at a farm 10 miles from pickup. Unfolding the bed was a bit of struggle for us oldies but we slept well. An experience and fun.

We had an adventure! It started with a van called Cyril. We decided he was having an identity crisis so renamed her Sybil. As it turned out it was very appropriate. Sybil is the engine carrying Forty Towers on wheels! We fixed and bodged our way through the week with reliable Sybil taking on dales and peaks she had never seen. We were not certain she would make it, with much crunching of gears on the first day. There was no hurry so we took it steady, 3 ol' girls together. I think Sybil appreciated that.

Cyril is very good example of a well maintained classic camper. The interior is very clean, and the exterior is good for its age. My only warning is that you watch the instruction videos with due diligence and that you get used to the high clutch and gear change before you hit the main roads. Once mastered, everthing will be fine. All that said, it got us to Cornwall and back without mishap, and the hirers are very nice folk to deal with.
