Moonraker is a custom black VW campervan, perfect for watersports and glamping. He has 2 sports seats at the front and an extra 2 seat sofa in the back that convert to a compact double bed. Moonraker has you covered for meal times with an integrated cooker and sink for washing dishes and grooming on the go. A small 12v coolerbox, cuttlery, crockery and cooking utensils are all you need to cook your fresh catch or farmshop buys! He also comes with an internal folding dining table. The 12v charger keep your phones topped up on the move and hookup charges all your appliances at campsites. Tinted windows with privacy blinds ensure a good night's sleep. The moveable thetford toilet can be used indoors or outdoors in the toilet tent. The portable solar shower is perfect to rinse off after trips to the beach. There is also plenty of storage space, a toasty warm diesel heater and electric hookup. A great little camper with all the basics for a glamping trip. WHAT TO EXPECT: Moonraker is regular retro VW T4. He is standard height (no pop top) and width (compact double bed). Expect analog vs digital and mechanical vs computerised. T4s are ideal for people living outside of the camper who want a warm, cosy place to put their head down at the end of a busy day exploring. A separate toilet tent accommodates the portable toilet or it can be used indoors or outdoors. Great for festivals and active people. The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £500.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

  • Cancel up to 30 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
  • Cancel between 30 and 10 days before the start of booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 10 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Wonderful time in Moonraker! The owners have been excellent at communicating all of the information needed, and are super responsive if you need them. The location of the van is private and secure, and I felt comfortable leaving my car there, and there's enough room to easily manoeuvre the van (which can be a bit scary with an unfamiliar vehicle). We took it to a festival and it easily made its way across a field (the tyres are great for this) and felt secure once the handbrake was on. The. bed is a bit stiff to move in and out, but we were prepared for this as we'd watched the video. We didn't use any other facilities (toilet, hob, water) so I can't comment on those, but we thought it was great.

    First time we'd used a camper van and both in our 60s. We just used it as a base for a party at a farm 10 miles from pickup. Unfolding the bed was a bit of struggle for us oldies but we slept well. An experience and fun.

We love the freedown of having a home on wheels and water and discovering new places. We can't get enough of the beautiful Southern English beaches. There are so many hidden gems in Dorset and Devon. The more secluded, the better! Cyril has given us the freedom to live our dreams :)
