Shorty is our VW T6.1 DSG Automatic Highline Camper. Adaptive cruise control for effortless long road trips, eberspacher climate control heater for that odd chilly night and all the usual camper accessories including fridge, sink, hob, grill, electric hook up, drive away awning, etc.

Hiring rules

Pick up and drop off times are Monday Friday 8.30 5.30
I understand that I have to replace any fuel used, and keep the vehicle clean as presented to me. (as per rental agreement
there will be a charge of £300.00 per day for each day the vehicle is in my possession after the agreed date and time
I agree to keep the vehicle in good order whilst in my custody or control and I will be responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by failure to observe at regular intervals the level of engine oil, coolant and tyre tread depths & pressures
I will be responsible for the cost of repairing punctures
I accept full responsibility for any parking violation or legal infringements (including congestion charges) in respect of the above vehicle whilst in my control.
Vehicle Conditions
The hirer acknowledges delivery of the vehicle and its contents, free from defects or damage, other than as specified by Shortfield Garage on the vehicle appraisal form.
Before the commencement of hire the hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the premises of Shortfield Garage.
The vehicle and contents must be returned in the same condition as when hired, with the interior, appliances and contents clean. A £100.00 cleaning charge will be deducted if anything requires cleaning
Porta Loo must be emptied and cleaned – Porta Loo returned unemptied/cleaned carry a £100.00 surcharge
cleaning of dirty or stained carpets or upholstery – will be charged at £50.00 p/h.
Fuel, Oil & Gas
The hirer will be liable if incorrect fuel type is used.
The fuel level should be the same when returning the vehicle as it was when you left as shown on the vehicle appraisal form
The hirer will be responsible for the regular checking of oil and water levels, and the use of the correct type of fluids.
Vehicle Weight
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the gross vehicle weight in so more than 2800KG when fully loaded and must ensure contents are always secure.
Smoking
It is against the law to smoke in all hire vehicles.

Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From £130.00 per day
Service fee: £50.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel up to 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 20 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
