The Ice Bowl’s rink, climbing wall, ten-pin bowling, escape room, and soft play are all very close to the campsite, making this touring park an ideal option for families too.

One for Game of Thrones fans! This National Trust campsite is in a corner of the spectacular Castle Ward Estate, used as a filming location for Winterfell in the famous HBO series. One of the most remarkable Belfast camping grounds, this is a gorgeous site for romantic weekends and strolls around open parkland, ancient woodland and landscaped gardens. Many walking trails are in the surrounding area.

Also close to beautiful Strangford Lough, this Camping and Caravanning Club Site is in peaceful and rural Delamont Country Park just over a mile from the pretty town of Killyleagh. Kids will love it here: the park has an open-air gym, adventure playground and miniature railway, and is an ideal location for family picnics and barbecues

Our final campsite is outside Belfast’s outskirts but well worth the drive for its stunningly scenic setting – and it’s another famous Northern Ireland Game of Thrones location too! It’s at acclaimed Tollymore Forest Park, 35 miles from the capital and the setting of GoT’s Haunted Forest among several other filming locations. The campsite itself sits at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and is well placed for day trips to Belfast and Newcastle.
