With so many models out there, it can be difficult to know what to look out for. Follow our tips to choose the best 12V TV for your motorhome!
Space and size
It’s not just the size of the screen you need to consider when buying your motorhome TV – think about the available space too. A 32-inch TV in a smaller vehicle is probably not a good idea, especially if the only space for the TV is on the only table. Around 19 to 21 inches is our recommended size for motorhome TVs – look for an edge to edge display to maximise your screen size, as shown in brands like Avtex.
Reception
Most TVs these days come with built-in satellite receivers and tuners to pick up Freeview and other channels – this is definitely the easiest way to get the channels you want! To set it all up, look for a motorhome TV with a one-button tuning system (AQT), and consider a standalone aerial booster amplifier if you need to strengthen the TV signal.
Energy efficiency
