With an extra two days added on to our usual weekend, the UK Easter Bank Holiday is the perfect time to take your kids away on an eggcellent staycation! If you're one of the lucky ones, able to take the entire school holidays off, well then the world is your oyster!

For a family activity break you’ll never forget, set off on a spring camping trip across farmland and forests to discover colourful festivities of all kinds. With egg hunts, newborn lambs and pastel blooms awaiting your adventure, the UK is chock-a-block with Easter events for children of all ages (and those of us young at heart!).

The best part is that you can enjoy as many of these exciting experiences as you like with the freedom of a motorhome, caravan or campervan. And when the little ones are all tired out, set up camp in the bucolic countryside for a relaxing rural getaway.

Ready to find some family fun this bank holiday? We’ve done a little digging to present you with the ultimate Easter activity breaks!

Join The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

Each year, the National Trust teams up with Cadbury to create clue-fuelled Easter egg hunts throughout over 300 of the UK’s most beautiful landscapes. From Trengwainton Garden in Penzance to Brodie Castle outside Inverness, you’ll find a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt close by!

After picking up a trail journal at Base Camp, your little eggsplorer will adventure across meadows, parks and woodland to be rewarded with a scrumptious Cadbury Egghead upon return. As well as the hunt itself, many locations present flower displays, fuzzy chicks and fluffy lambs. Others hold Easter craft workshops, teaching tots how to make springtime creations like ladybird houses and wildflower seed bombs.

What does that mean?
Essentially, we provide a unique sharing service where owners of caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and campervans list their RV for hire while not in use. As an owner, this enables you to earn over £10,000 each year instead of having your RV just sitting around while you’re not using it.
