6. Window security film
Adding a protective film to your motorhome windows is a must, to protect the pane if a thief decides to bypass window locks and simply smash the window instead. It’s worth splashing out here on the strongest film you can find, as this will protect the window in case of accidents as well as theft.
Window film can also be used just for security or privacy. While you’ll probably want transparent or tinted film for most of your motorhome windows, consider adding opaque to any window that’s not curtained, such as at the back.

Even if you’re only at the research stage of motorhome ownership, you’ll probably already know that motorhome windows are vulnerable when it comes to keeping your vehicle safe from theft.
Although motorhomes can cost tens of thousands of pounds, unfortunately the windows – normally framed in plastic – can be breached.
