This unusual little campsite is on a working smallholding next to the Oxford Canal, home to rare pedigree breeds of pigs and a farm shop selling home-reared pork chops, sausages and bacon. Banbury is four miles away for sightseeing days – or set off from the campsite for walks along the 77-mile canal.

The Camping and Caravanning Club site at Chipping Norton is in a quiet setting surrounded by trees and Cotswolds dry stone walls. A bus stop is right outside the site. This is an ideal campsite for families and pets: a dog walk is on-site and kids can let off steam at the play area. There’s also a dedicated parent and baby washroom.

Greenway Farm
