Where does your interest in camping/caravanning come from?

It really started with my grandma and grandad. When I was a kid my grandma and grandad used to take me and my sister on holiday with them, we went all over the place. They really enjoy a good walk up the mountain. I didn’t really, so I grow up caravaning.

When did you get your first vehicle?

I bought my first caravan six years ago. I spent the first 2 months rebuilding it. At the time I didn’t know where to look for, so I didn’t know if I was doing it well or not... only now I know.

When I finished it I hooked it up, went to my grandpas and showed it off. They were proud of me. Sadly they have passed away, but their ashes are together. We spread them out at their favourite hotel in the Lake District, where they liked to walk every morning.

We used the caravan for five years and had great holidays in it. Later we sold it and bought a newer one. We now have 5 children and they love it. Chloe is the oldest, and she doesn't like it any more but McKenzie, the second, loves it!

There's also Isabelle, Olivia and Jenson. our youngest one who adores it! For them, it’s really a different world, more friendly than staying at home.

Why did you decide to join Camplify?
