This small, friendly campsite is well placed for walking and cycling as it’s right next to the Monsal Trail, the 8.5 mile traffic-free route that’s also pushchair-friendly. Older kids and teens can take the mountain bike trail from the farm gate.
The excellent on-site facilities include a shop selling Dale Farm's own meats, jams, chutneys and cakes, plus award-winning baked goodies.

Upper Hurst Farm near Buxton has four mini Shetland ponies and offers “meet the ponies” sessions. As well as that, there’s a huge field for running around, plus a play area for smaller children.
