The Festival Favourite Badge: What It Means and How to Make the Most of It
)
If your listing has been awarded the Festival Favourite badge, congratulations — Camplify has identified your van as a great fit for festival hirers. Here's what that means in practice, and how to use it to your advantage.
What Is the Festival Ready Badge?
The Festival Favourite badge is awarded to listings from owners who have previously accepted festival bookings on Camplify.
Based on booking history on the platform, these owners have demonstrated that they’re open to festival hires, making it easier for hirers to find vans from owners experienced with festival trips.
For hirers planning festival travel, this badge acts as a helpful signal that your van is a festival-friendly option. When hirers use the Festival filter while searching, which is something many do when planning these trips, means listings with the Festival Favourite badge can be easier to identify.
Why It Matters for Your Bookings
During festival season, hirers are often searching in a focused, intentional way. They know the dates, they know the festival, and they want a van that's going to work for them. The Festival Favourite filter shortcuts that search — hirers using it are warm leads who are already confident in what they want.
Being in that filtered set means:
Higher visibility during high-demand weekends
More relevant enquiries from hirers who already have festival plans
A perception of trust and suitability before a message is even sent

How All Camplify Vehicles Are Opted In
By default, all vehicles on Camplify are opted in to receive festival booking requests. This makes it as easy as possible for hirers to find vans during peak season, and for owners to take advantage of demand without any extra steps.
If you'd prefer not to receive festival bookings, you can opt out at any time through your listing dashboard — just toggle off 'Event & Festival Hire' under 'Hire Types' your listing settings.
Tips for Maximising Your Badge
If you have the Festival Favourite badge, here are a few ways to make sure it's working as hard as possible for you:
Update your photos. If you have shots of your van at a campsite or in a field setting, make sure they're in your listing gallery. Context sells.
Mention festivals in your description. A simple line about your van being ideal for festival weekends reassures hirers and reinforces what the badge is already communicating.
Be responsive. Festival hirers often book with urgency. A quick response to an enquiry can be the difference between a booking and a missed opportunity.
Keep your calendar current. Make sure your van shows as available for the major festival weekends. Hirers searching for specific dates will only see you if your calendar is accurate.
Communicate clearly before accepting. Message the hirer to confirm which festival they're attending, whether they have the correct camping pass, and pick-up and drop-off logistics. This protects you and makes for a smoother hire.
If You'd Rather Remove the Badge
If the Festival Ready badge isn't right for you, simply get in touch at owners@camplify.co.uk and the team can arrange its removal. There's no obligation to take festival bookings, and opting out via your listing settings is always available to you.
