Find delivered vansWhat is Camplify?
Camplify is the UK’s largest campervan and motorhome sharing community. We connect travellers with trusted local van owners for peer-to-peer hire – real people sharing real vans, with comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover included as standard.
How does campervan hire work on Camplify?
It’s straightforward: search for your perfect campervan, motorhome or caravan, choose your dates, and send a booking request – no upfront payment required. Once the owner accepts, verify your identity, pay a deposit to secure the booking and you’re all set. On collection day, the owner gives you a proper handover covering everything you need to know.
Can I take a campervan to a festival?
Yes, many hirers choose campervans and motorhomes for festivals as a more comfortable alternative to tents. Just make sure the festival you’re attending allows vans and that you have the correct campervan or motorhome camping pass if required.
Do I need a special ticket for van camping?
Most festivals require a separate caravan, campervan or motorhome camping ticket in addition to your festival entry ticket. These are usually purchased directly from the festival organiser.
Where do vans park at festivals?
Most festivals have a dedicated caravan, campervan or motorhome campsite, separate from the general camping area. These spaces are usually located within or close to the festival grounds.
You’ll normally need a special camping pass from the festival organiser to access this area.
Can the van be delivered to the festival?
Some Camplify owners offer delivery options, which may include delivering the vehicle to a nearby campsite or agreed meeting point. You can check delivery availability on the vehicle listing or discuss options with the owner before booking.
What facilities do vans usually have?
Facilities vary depending on the type of vehicle, but many include:
A bed or sleeping area
Cooking facilities
Storage space
Running water
Electricity and lighting
Motorhomes and caravans (and some campervans) tend to include toilets, and showers.
Will I have electricity or power at the festival?
Many festival campervan campsites are off-grid, meaning there may not be electrical hookups available.
Some vans are designed for off-grid use, with leisure batteries that power lights, water pumps and other basic systems. It’s always a good idea to check the vehicle listing or ask the owner about battery capacity and power usage before your trip.
Is insurance included with my booking?
Yes. Eligible bookings made through Camplify include comprehensive hire insurance and breakdown cover, giving you peace of mind during your trip.
What if I’ve never driven a motorhome or campervan before?
Many hirers are first-time motorhome or campervan drivers. Owners will provide a full handover before the trip, showing you how the vehicle works and answering any questions so you feel comfortable before setting off.
