We had an amazing time driving around the peaks in violet, she was perfect in every way. Gemma was also a star, letting us know all we needed to know and being a phone call away if we had any questions. Lovely holiday thank you !!! :)

Oh my goodness, where to start?! This van is amazing! Its so full of character, I fell in love with it pretty quickly and felt my 2 weeks travelling around the Scottish Highlands were made all the better with a van like this one. It has everything you need - Gemma has really been thoughtful about what shes put into the van. Its beautiful too - I like the little touches like the fake backsplash tiling and the clock. It is an older van - so dont expect a perfect, modern experience. Ive never driven anything with a choke and spark button, but Gemmas initial handover explained exactly what to do and I never had an issue with it. There were also a couple of times I had forgotten what Gemma had said and she responded so fast and in great detail. I honestly couldnt have had a better experience. I cant recommend it enough. If you want an experience in a camper, look no further. And Gemma was a phenomenal host. Thank you for making a special trip even more memorable.

I rented the campervan Violet for a week and returned it three days early as it is dangerous. The faults are as listed: - The awning is missing one of its stabilising feet and the elastic has come out of the poles. - The heater shows a red fault light on the thermostat and doesnt work. - The battery does not charge past 2 bars (the owner has acknowledge in texts and on this holiday the battery has not charged past 1 bar). - The passenger window button does not work (the owner also already stated). - The fridge does not work as a 12V battery cannot power the cooling unit. - The sink is leaking. - There is unsafe corrosion across the van body with a literal hole in the side. - The seatbelts do not click in properly. - The driver side window gets stuck if you wind it down. - The engine coolant light came on due to the owner not topping up engine coolant between hires and it leaks. - The window wipers do not clear the screen when its raining. - Theres a sharp edge of the front drivers side tyre. - The bed mechanism is broken where the bolt has snapped off it. - The sliding door does not seal properly and pops open. - The engine oil is leaking (you can see it leaking under the car and if you touch it, its literally wet with oil). I took this van to a Garage as the engine oil light came on and the mechanic stated that the van has an oil leak and should not have passed its MOT due to the various faults listed here. It was wholly unpleasant. The owner is also poor at responding to texts. She did not reply for 2 days when we asked how the heater worked, and has not replied after she promised to refund us the meat which we lost due to the fridge not working. The owner should have demonstrated the facilities like the heating properly, rather than withholding information that the battery does not charge properly etc. Overall, save yourself the trouble and the trauma of this van. I have photographs of all the damage / broken facilities and am pursuing action against this experience. Check Violets MOT and you will see how the van is left with advisories of oil leaks and still passed. How this that acceptable when youre running a business? If its a personal car then fine, but you should not subject hirers to such poor conditions.

Amazing weekend!! Violet was awesome...everything you need and super cool...got loads of compliments about her! Very comfy...and deffo beats a tent!! Gemma was lovely, answered any questions and explained everything at pick up! Made our weekend super special!!

We had a wonderful holiday in Violet. We did the NC500 and she was perfect for all our needs. Gemma showed us round the van and explained everything to us in detail when picking her up, and was available to contact at anytime.

Love the holiday in the van proper good vw t4 cant complain good vans and the purple theme and the interior just topped it would 100% would recommend
