Sam and Rhys were great hosts - good comms before, during and after the hire and handovers were great. Big B is a lovely van, but being quite old (08 plate) and a self- made conversion, there are some quirks and its not 5* luxury like a purpose built van, but depending on what youre looking for, this could add to the charm. We had a great time away and it was good to practice before considering what type of van wed like to purchase in the future.

We have just returned the van from Thursday 22nd August - Monday 26th. There is an ongoing dispute with the owner which I will keep separate from review. Communication leading up to booking was fantastic. Handover was ok, we paid extra for early check in all went smoothly. On the first night we had to report an issue with awning and on the Saturday we had to report an issue with the water pump. Unfortunately, on the Saturday the main door also failed which meant we had no water and had to access and exit the vehicle via the drivers side, not ideal. The photos on Camplify are not a true reflection of how the van looks now. It seems that van was much loved when the owners used it but since being a rental its been used and abused by renters with no upkeep or tlc put back into it. We are a couple with a 6yr old son and there was ample space. We used to own a camper so know not to expect a 5* luxury experience but at a bare minimum I would expect things to be clean and in working order. Sadly, this was not the case in our experience and as the owners mentioned, they have had back to back bookings throughout August with only 2 reviews left, this speaks volumes. Maybe it a case that we were very unlucky and things just gave in during our time renting but this experience has not been great. We wouldnt recommend Big B unless she had a lot of remedial works done.

We had the best time in Big B at Boomtown Festival. We felt right at home. Van was warm and cosy. Great to wake up in the mornings being able to have a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie. We cannot wait to use again. Sam and her partner are so helpful.

Absolutely loved this van. Had everything we needed in there. Awning was a great touch too. Great communication with the hosts throughout. Would highly recommend!

The van was fantastic and Sam was a wonderful host! I was nervous as I had never driven such a big van but Sam was very supportive and calming which made the whole thing a lot easier. They were always quick to respond to any questions too! AND THE BED IS COMFY! Theres a window in the ceiling above the bed so you can watch the stars!

We took this camper to a festival and had an amazing time away. The kids absolutely loved it! Sam & Rhys are great, they explained everything thoroughly and even delivered the van to us! This does cost extra, but takes all the hassle out of going to collect it, so you can just get on your way to enjoying yourself.

An AMAZING experience! The van is gorgeous: very spacious.comfy bedcute decoratedhot showerand all the amenities one may wish for. It is not a new van but it has been so well looked after and maintained that any minor wear and tear is completely acceptable for its age. The skylights make it bright and beautiful but there are some covers to keep the sun away for a lazy morning. Sam handover was easy and simple and there is a manual inside in case you forget something they explained initially. The fuel consumption was good and driving this big B was not as scary as you might fear. Emptying the toilet (only for liquidnot #2) was easy. Sam even left some water and condiments inside for our use. Bedding was also provided. I totally recommend it and will definitely hire it again in the future. Thanks Sam!

Lovely renters that were really helpful with an earlier pick up & thorough with handover and explanation of using the van. Not sure what we did wrong but couldnt get the fridge to work but think that was us rather than it not working so make sure you pay attention during collection how to work it! The van was spotless, very roomy & great to have linen provided & cooking equipment. Small bathroom was great to have as we were at a festival. Would rent again, great to be able to leave the car as well when picking up the van. Thank you both

We had an amazing time, big B was perfect for us - 2 adults, 1 teen and 6yr old. It had everything we needed and the beds were really comfy and warm. Our trip was a birthday surprise for my partner and Sam had decorated the van before we arrived which made it extra special. She was incredibly helpful and went through everything thoroughly before we hit the road. Having had our own vans in the past one of the highlights was the amount of windows so everyone had a great views of the stunning scenery & skys on the NC500. Super easy to drive with plenty of storage space too.
