Lovely few days away in the motorhome. This was our first hire and it was easy to drive and use with everything you needed for a comfortable trip. Keith was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend.

Im leaving 3 stars for this hire, and Ill start by saying that Ive hired many caravans and motorhomes from this website over the years and have always had positive experiences. I have never left a bad review before, but I do feel its only fair to share both the positives and the areas that need improvement. First, the good points: the beds were very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and Keith was quick to respond to messages, which I appreciated. However, there were some issues that unfortunately affected our trip. The listing advertised a Safari room, which Keith also confirmed to me by phone before the booking, but on collection there wasnt one. Keith kindly lent us a gazebo instead, which was thoughtful, but it wasnt really a substitute for what we had booked. The gas also ran out on the second day, and with no spare provided we ended up with three out of five days without hot water, cooking facilities, or a working fridge. Sadly, this meant throwing away a fridge of fresh food. Cleanliness was another concern. When we collected the motorhome, it wasnt at a standard I would expect for hire. We spent two hours cleaning before I was happy for my children to stay in it. There were also some maintenance issues such as broken blinds, a dining bench bed that wasnt in usable condition, and a mattress that really needs replacing. The mattress cover over the cab bed was also covered in dog hair, though Keith did kindly provide a fresh sheet, which helped. All in all, we paid £650 for what ended up being a rather basic experience without gas for most of the trip. While Keith was responsive and helpful at times, I did find his reaction to my feedback about cleanliness a little defensive, which made it difficult to raise the other issues at the time. Keith, I think you probably expected this review, and I truly hope it comes across in the spirit intended: constructive feedback. If a little investment is made into professional cleaning and repairs, this motorhome could be a much more enjoyable and reliable hire for future guests. This review is completely honest and supported by evidence.

Great van and service from Keith was great. Given the age of the van have to call out the beds, they were really comfy. Everything worked as it should, will be back!

When we picked up the motorhome for a weekend hire it looked a bit old and tired but that wasnt necessarily a problem. Keith was friendly and gave a speedy introduction to the vehicle. When we got to our campsite in Dorset it became apparent that many things in the motorhome were not working or were broken and there was dirt and detritus from previous occupants (dried egg on a spatula, hair and dirt in the storage bins by the bed and also mould in the freezer and on the entrance door. The sink was leaking, so unusable, the door was almost impossible to close from the inside as the catch was cracked and broken. I contacted Keith and he said thanks for letting me know not offering any solutions. We persevered and found that the handbrake would not hold on a slope and the aircon and radio in the cab didnt work. The next day Keith apologised by text and offered to refund some money. No refund has been made. We returned the motorhome on the Sunday. Keith didnt turn up for the handover and told us to leave the keys in the glovebox. I sent him a list of the faults, most of which could so easily be rectified in time for the next hirer. He tried to call me at 11.30pm that night and sent me a message saying he was upset and disgusted by what I had said I feel like we were cynically ripped off as Keith must have known about all the faults prior to our hire. We paid almost £400 for 2 nights in a substandard, not very clean motorhome. I would not hire from this individual ever again.

Keith gave an excellent handover and explained everything we need to know about the van and how everything works, and this was exactly the same at handover, no issue encountered with the van.

Had a great trip in Keiths van. He is very helpful, friendly and efficient. We had a fantastic visit to Dorest, all the equipment in the van was great too and the awning proved great as it happened to be a warm weekend. Would definitely hire this van again. Thanks Keith!
