We are proud to present our luxury, low mileage, well-maintained 4-berth family motorhome that can be hired all year round from the heart of the national forest. Ideally located in the heart of the Midlands, popular attractions such as Sherwood Forest, Cannock Chase, and the Peak District are all under 1 hour away. With access to the M42 and M1, you can quickly be on your way to your chosen destination. If you're traveling off the beaten track for an off-grid adventure you can rest assured that this modern, compact, fully insulated and sanitized motorhome is ready for the road to make your holiday as stress-free as possible. Bigger isn't necessarily better.... this compact motorhome is ideal for keeping you mobile. Supermarket trips and visits to towns and seaside resorts are absolutely possible in this home away from home. While compact, Robin the Motorhome has plenty of room for storing everything you need for your short or long stay. Storage includes drawers, cupboards, and rails so you can load up with your stuff, and be rest assured it will not impact your room to relax. The motorhome is powered by a 2.3 130BHP Ducato engine with its easy-to-drive Semi-Automatic gearbox that allows you to decide how you wish to travel. Its cruise control systems also allows that extra comfort when traveling long distances and is great on fuel. Air conditioning is available in the cab area and the rearview camera makes parking as easy. The cab area has a USB and 12v charging points for your phones and Sat Navs and the vehicle is also fitted with an alarm and tracking system for your peace of mind. This motorhome boasts its high specification that is applied throughout with its warm air heating system managed by Swift's own Truma heating system, hot water shower, and comfortable living, it is ideal for those wanting to get away and enjoy the freedom that motorhome holidays bring for you, your friends and family. The spacious kitchen includes an oven, grill, 3-ring burner, spacious fridge/freezer, and a microwave to ensure you have the facilities in your home away from home including all those essential HSE items such as smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, fire blankets, fire extinguishers and first aid kits that are fitted for your safety. It is also supplied with cutlery and kitchenware for 4 people. The bathroom comes complete with a WC, separate hot shower, sink, and mirrors with plenty of deep space to dry out your wet clothing or store those essential items for your holiday. The sleeping area consists of a manually operated pulldown double bed that can be adjusted to suit your sleeping height, complete with Swift's own Duvalay Duvalight mattress that is extremely comfortable and is a really bright space to spend time thanks to the roof light overhead. The 2nd double bed is assembled using the seating area as per most modern motorhomes and is complete with a mattress topper to ensure a quality night's sleep. The living area with its ambient and adjustable lighting and front spin swivel seats comes complete with a swivel table and individual adjustable LED lights that showcase its modern interior. The easy-to-clean laminate flooring can be supplied with bespoke fitted carpets for that added extra comfort. Each door and window also comes complete with fly screens and blackout blinds and also includes a modern TV and TV ariel that can be used with firesticks and or DVDs. The cab radio system can be connected to your phone and has DAB connectivity. The outdoor area comes complete with an adjustable wind-out awning with LED external light and an external hot/cold water shower point for that muddy gear! The external solar panels enable this motorhome to be off-grid for periods of time to enable that wild camping experience. The motorhome also comes complete with an external Gas BBQ point if you feel like dining al fresco!

Hiring rules

We kindly ask that you clean and respect our motorhome when in use and we hope you enjoy this motorhome as our family does.
Please note, cleaning surcharges may apply if the interior of Robin has not been brought back to the standard on the day of handover and/or there is excessive soiling of the exterior (road dirt is acceptable).
Do: Treat the van as if it were your own
Do: Return the van in the same clean condition it was hired out to you
Do: Ensure the van has a full tank of diesel when returned
Do: Ensure the toilets and grey water / freshwater tanks are emptied and cleared when returned
Do: Ensure all areas are sanitised and cleaned when returned
Don't: Wear shoes on the seats or beds
What you will need:
A DVLA Check code
Two utility bills within the last three months as proof of address
Driver must be between 23 and 75 years of age
Driver must have held a UK license for a minimum of 2 years
Driver must not have had their license suspended in the last 3 years
Driver must not have been involved in more than 1 fault incident within the last 3 years
Driver must not have more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction
Driver must not have obtained a BA, DD or UT conviction
If you have had a ban or disqualification or a single 6point offense then we will need to refer to our insurance provider. If you have 9 points for three 3point offenses then a £500.00 excess will apply
Two 3point offenses or a single 4point offense or anything less than 6 points is covered as standard.
If your driving license has expired and in the process of being renewed then we will need to see copies of your valid passport and proof that you have requested a new license or changes with the DVLA.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £1,000.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel up to 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 20 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
