Hiring rules

• For insurance purposes all drivers must:
• Be aged between 23 and 75
• Held a full UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
• Not had their licence suspended for any period within the last 3 years
• Not been involved in more than one fault incident within the last 3 years
• Have no more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction.
• Please note that we are happy to discuss individual exceptions to the criteria above with our insurers and can often be flexible in known circumstances.
• Customers driving the camper must provide:
• 1.Both parts of their valid UK or EU driving licence
• 2.Valid driving licence check code (required for a DVLA check on the driving licence)
• 3. Two utility bills providing proof of address dated within 3 months of the hire date
• These should be forwarded by email at least one week prior to the hire date to allow time for the insurance checks to be carried out.
• Additional drivers can be added to the insurance cover at no extra cost but would need to provide all the necessary documentation at check in.
• Please allow around an hour when you collect your Campervan so we can go through the paperwork and show you around your vehicle. We will do our best to help you get the most from your camping adventure.

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £750.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

  Very disappointing not as advertised. This van is not a proper campervan. The pop-top is far too small for anyone to sleep in, offers little storage, and is only useful for ventilation. A few days before pickup, James called and asked where we planned to sleep. I said in the main cabin, and he told me hed remove the kitchenbut I didnt realise this meant there would be no working kitchen at all. When we picked it up, the seats were already down and it was obvious this was just a standard van with a blow-up mattress thrown in. A double mattress completely fills the space, leaving no room for anything else. To top it off, when I asked about the fridge, James handed me a cool box. This van absolutely does not sleep 5 peopleits barely suitable for 2. It is falsely advertised and I would not recommend it. Beware.
