The Happy Highland Camper is a beautifully converted, long wheel base VW T6 Transporter. It is perfect for exploring the Highlands or doing the NC500. The van is ideal for a couple or a single explorer looking to get away. The long wheel base gives extra floor space, and provides valuable additional storage. It really does make all the difference!!! There is a living area with fully equipped kitchen, table and swivel passenger seat to enjoy social meals and board games. The van can carry 5 passengers when driving and has a double fold out ‘rock & roll’ bed and high quality roof bed suitable for one person. The scenic canvas in the roof provides panoramic views to enjoy in the morning. Happy Highland Camper is equipped with 50 ltr fridge with freezer compartment, 2 burner gas stove, stainless steel sink with running water, all of which can be used on or off grid. The van has a hook-up point also, so can be plugged into 240v plugs for camping on campsites or 12v USB for wild camping with use of the leisure battery. It also has a diesel heater for those colder nights and off grid wild camping. We are based 15 minutes from Inverness airport and 10 minutes from Inverness train / bus stations. Safe off street car parking is available free of charge whilst hiring the camper. The van has relevant gas/habitation certificates. The van is available from 3pm on the day of collection and is to be returned by 11am on the final day of booking. The van is fully equipped with cooking / kitchen equipment. We also provide freshly laundered sleeping bags, pillows and towels.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From £85.00 per day
Service fee: £20.00

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel up to 7 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 7 days and 48 hours before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

My partner and I could not have been happier with the camper. We travelled the NC500 and it was brilliant from start to finish; All of the help Graeme gave us showing the van initially, the amazing smooth drive (we didnt even refuel once on the entire trip!), down to the added extras provided with the van (pillows, sleeping bags etc. ..not to mention the lovely cookies). If any help was needed, it was just a text or phone call away, the communication from the hosts was excellent - before, during and after the hire. The perfect vehicle & hosts for the perfect road trip. We would love to hire again on a visit back in the future and will recommend to everyone! Thank you so much Graeme & Ashlea.

Excellent van, fully stocked with all we could need. Graeme was lovely and gave a thorough tour/induction on collection. Also appreciated being able to leave my car at the hosts place. We had a fantastic van adventure, really memorable!
