  Francis was an absolute legend. He helped us out last minute to get the van ready, and was friendly and helpful and communicative. He even came to pick the van up for us when we were knackered after a long drive home. The van was gorgeous, everything you need for a weekend away - awning, comfy bed, gas stove with plates cups etc. Has made me want to buy my own van but in the meantime ill def rent from Francis again. Thank you!!!!

  With a "No smoking and vaping" hire rule, we are surprising to find Francis vaping behing the whell and a used ashtray in the van. Then we spent a whole day cleaning the inside of the van, which was very dirty, smelled bad, the dishes were dirty and the fridge was full of mould. To top it all off, communication was excruciating. The engine warning light came on after 2 days. We contacted them straight away to find out what to do, he replied that he was sending us the but we're still waiting for a reply. On several occasions I made clear my preference for written communication (I'm not English and my phone is switched off all day), and rather than anticipating the return of the van (with 15 days to go, there was plenty of time), we had to deal with it in a hurry on the last day with 3 different plans and the stress of missing the boat.

  We are so sad to say we are really disappointed with how our hire of the camper van has gone due to loosing so much of our weekend time because of a tyre issue. The tyre that burst had severe balding as did another upon inspection. Had they had the correct size spare tyre/same size replacement we could have changed it our selves roadside and be on our way (we realise these things happen). However there was no sufficient spare tyre (illegal) leaving us in a stressful, helpless and dangerous situation. We couldnt get through to them for over an hour. We were on hold to Camify for the entirety; yet no luck connecting. AA said they have only personal cover when we contacted them providing the registration and explaining hire through Campify, so we had no choice but to call a local emergency tyre repair. We have lost 6 hours of our holiday - this meant we couldnt explore the planned locations and activities. It has cost £390 and whilst we appreciate they eventually have reimbursed us it has cost a whole day of the hire/use of the van which we were so looking forward to: this is a extremely frustrating. Its such a shame as this could have been so easily avoided. We didnt even get one apology!

  The van was in an immaculate condition and fully equipped. The bad was very comfortable and we enjoyed the weekend with it very much.

  Fantastic experience from start to finish. Very friendly, flexible and helpful host. Van drove great and operated just as expected. Highly recommended.
