Hiring rules

• Offroad and unsealed roads: Please be aware that the campervan is not suitable for offroad use. If you plan to drive on unsealed roads, kindly request written approval through Camplify messages before your trip begins.
• No smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the van. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a clean and odorfree environment.
• Pets: If you wish to bring a pet along, please inform us in advance. While we love pets, we kindly request that you notify us beforehand so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
• Festivals: Please note that we do not permit festival use of the campervan, unless specifically authorized.
• Hirer age restrictions: The Camplify Flex insurance covers drivers between 25 and 70 years of age.
• Cleaning: We kindly ask that you return the campervan in a clean condition. Failure to do so will incur a £40.00 cleaning fee.
• Pickup and dropoff times: Pickup time is from 3pm, and the campervan must be returned by 12pm.
• Free camping: We regret to inform you that free camping is not allowed.
• Travel distance limits: The radius from the base is 200 miles. Longer trips are permitted, but they must be preapproved.
• Emergency procedures: In case of any engine warning lights or accidents, prioritize your safety. Pull over immediately, contact Camplify on 0330 808 1811, call the provided breakdown service number, or reach out to me directly.
• Damage reporting: If any damage occurs, please report it immediately. Provide details of who, what, where, and when the incident took place.
• Long trips: The normal booking price includes up to 200 miles per day. Any additional miles will be charged at £0.30 per mile upon completion of the trip, deducted from your bond.
• Fuel requirements: Please return the campervan with a full tank of diesel, as it was provided to you at the start of the trip.
• Cleaning responsibilities: We appreciate your effort in cleaning the equipment and van. Excessive cleaning may result in additional charges.
• Please be aware that as per Camplify's Terms and Conditions, Camplify manages the Accident Excess (security deposit) for every booking. Rest assured that your security deposit is handled according to Camplify's guidelines.

  Annie the Ambo has lots of signs of her age.. diesel gobbler, scratched and dents galore on body work, a pull out step to get in & out that didnt work (so wouldnt advise anyone with knee/hip issues to hire), drips coming through skylight and side window - the owner pointed out the that the skylight was leaking, but that it didnt drip in your head in bed!! Sadly we ran out of gas for the cooker in the first 24 hours clearly must have been virtually empty when we hired her, and no back up canister which caused us hassle and was disappointing to say the least, as it affected our planned use of the camper van with friends. Owner was apologetic and gave us a small token refund. Nevertheless, Annie got us there and back without issue and provided shelter from a windy weekend break.

  We had a fantastic time with Annie. She was comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed for our trip. Roger and his mum were really friendly and helpful. Annie was fun to drive, she's a bit rough round the edges but she managed to drive really well. She could have been a bit cleaner, some of the nooks and crannies were a bit dirty. Overall we had a great trip and would definitely rent from Roger again.

  Lovely van . Drives well , spacious well equipped with a very comfortable bed. Pick up and drop off very straightforward. Host friendly and helpful.

  We really enjoyed our stay in Annie the Ambulance, really smooth drive all the way and all the way back, really cozy and comfortable we and our dog absolute loved our time in Annie and Roger was a fantastic hirer, can't recommend enough.

  Oh my goodness, the entire journey from booking Annie, communicating with Annies parents (Roger, Noorah, Jenny), picking Annie up, spending time with Annie in amazing hills and forest and green surroundings with a group of friends who loved her too, having deep cosy warm sleeps in Annie and feeling safe in her arms, to dropping her off and being able to express our gratitude to her parents who had built her to share joy and fun with others. We had one doctor in our group of friends who sat behind Annies wheel and said it was fulfilling her dream of driving an ambulance. Annie is spacious and comfy with homey little touches. We want to take her for another adventure next year. We feel blessed to have had Annie being part of our magical long bank holiday weekend. We wish Annie and her parents an endless flow of happy travellers and easy peaceful safe fun journeys. Adriana, Darius, Luiza xxx
