Harvey (RV)

This is my VW Transporter that I have had professionally converted from a 2017 Kombi, using the experience of my many years of van ownership. It's been kept simple so its spacious and airy and allows a useful amount of clobber to be brought with you. It has a pop top for a friendly couple or 2 kids, and a ground floor bed which can recline for lounging. There are a pair of roof bars rated to 70 kg so good for kayaks and sups. The 2 front seats swivel creating a roomy lounge. I have an extra single seat (VW original so nice and safe) with seatbelt/isofix which allows you to carry 5 if needed. There is an alpine stereo with sub and apple carplay and a diesel heater. There is a tarp awning which fits onto the rail (just the top no sides), 2 folding chairs and outside table. Electrical hook up lead and a power bank for charging phones and running lights but its can also run things like a blender, panini machine or microwave. These vans are really easy to drive, as you can sneak in under many car park barriers and are a great intro to see if you can get on with van life ownership 24/7. I made the switch a few years ago and its life changing. This van has no fixed cooking facilities indoors as its much nicer to cook out, it has an "acoustic coolbox" (not electric just put freezer blocks in!) and no wc or shower facilities because they are always better in the campsite
