The front double bench seat swivels around 180 degrees to provide double seating in the accommodation area, and in addition to the side seat provides ample seating for up to 4 people. The table swivels and rotates so you can move it to any position that suits. The main double bed is permanently fixed, so you won't need to assemble it every night, and is fitted at the back of the van above the huge garage space. There are fly screens fitted on the side door and back door so if you're lucky enough to park up in warm weather you can sleep with the back doors open and wake up to amazing views whilst still keeping the mosquitoes at bay. The stylish and practical kitchen is fitted with a full size oven with grill, a 3 burner gas stove and a microwave oven. The LPG can be filled up at many locations in the UK and Europe but a full tank is included in the rental. A full set of European gas fill adapters are provided. There is also an external gas point accessible at the side door to use the BBQ (provided) if the weather permits. Kitchen equipment and utensils are provided. We have even provided a pod coffee machine with some pods to start you off. There is a large 90lt fridge, with a small freezer compartment (to make ice). We can also provide a separate 26lt fridge/freezer in the garage space if required at an additional cost. The roof is full of solar panels (500w) and the fresh water tank holds over 150lt so if 'off grid camping' is your thing this is the van for you! A 2kW inverter fitted so you can enjoy mains electricity when 'off grid', but, if the creature comforts of a camp site are more your thing then you also have the option to 'hook up', this will give you 240v mains power, without having to keep an eye on the batteries. A hook up cable is provided. There is a full blown-air central heating and hot water system, so you can stay toasty in the winter. There are also two roof vents with fans to keep cool air flowing through the van in the warmer weather. The practical bathroom is fitted with a shower and toilet. The bathroom is also heated so you can use it as a drying room for your wet clothes if you're caught out in a downpour. There is plenty of wardrobe and overhead locker space for your clothes, and a hidden combination safe to keep your valuables secure. We provide black out blinds for the cab area, and all the other windows have blinds/fly-screens built in. The van is fitted with a CO gas detector, a first aid kit and a fire extinguisher. A European breakdown kit (warning triangle, Hi-Viz vests etc) is also provided, just in case. The garage space is very large, you will have plenty of room here to store extra clothes/bulky items etc. and store your souvenirs as you travel. If cycling is your thing, then the bicycle rack on the back door holds two bicycles securely. The rack is permanently attached to the van, so you can safely lock your bike to it. If your bikes are electric, you can remove the batteries from the bikes and charge them in the garage space, using either 240v mains or 12v dc. There is an outside shower, so you can wash yourself/bike/wellies/dog etc. This is perfect for washing off the sand after a day on the beach. The van has an internet router fitted with an external antenna, reasonable use of data is included (this may not include some European countries). This means that you can use the fitted TV to stream television or movies on those rainy evenings when you don't want to venture outside. We will provide a comprehensive instruction folder which shows where to find everything and how it all works, but we will also be happy to answer questions if you need help whilst on your journey. Paul is also advertised on GoBoony, and we hire directly from our own website shown on the photos. We are happy to take bookings from here, or the other platforms. We are dog friendly people so if you have a small dog which is well behaved then feel free to ask. We will need to know the breed, age, size and temperament of the dog before we give the go ahead so please provide this information during the booking request. Pets must be agreed in advance, so no surprises on pick up day please. Festivals are not necessarily a problem so please ask. European trips may also be OK. we love to travel Europe ourselves so know how much fun this can be. Two people will be VERY comfortable in this van, even on an extended trip 'off grid'. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, We're very proud of our van, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Insurance is included in the hire price. Optional extras include: 1. Drive away awning. This attaches to the side of the van and stays pitched when you leave the site. It's inflatable and doubles the amount of inside space available. These tents are very expensive so we have to charge an extra 75 GBP per booking. 2. Bring your pet. One pet maximum. This is self explanatory. 25 GBP per booking. 3. Extra freezer space. The fitted fridge is a very good size but the built in freezer is only big enough to make ice. We can provide an additional freezer for the garage space that will give you an extra 24 litres of freezer space. This is listed as a 'Van Package' in the options list (because freezer wasn't available). This is an extra 25 GBP per booking. Remember, we need to feel that Paul is in safe hands when we hire him out, so, the more information you give us the quicker we are able to accept the booking request.

Hiring rules

• We want you to enjoy your time with Paul the campervan so we have a few basic rules which keep him clean, in tip top condition and ready for the next hirer.
• Absolutely NO SMOKERS.
• Pet are allowed if they're well behaved. Pets must never be left in the van unattended.
• Please return the van in the same condition as it was when you picked it up. Inside and outside. If you put the mud on it, you'll need to get the mud off it. This includes dead bugs on the windscreen.
• Any costs incurred during the hire period must be paid by the hirer, for example parking charges, tolls, LEZ charges etc.
• Before returning:
• Empty the toilet.
• Empty the waste water tank.
• Empty/Fill the fresh water tank to about 1/4 full.
• Fill the diesel tank.
• If there has been any damage or losses please bring them to our attention as soon as they happen and again during the return handover. We know accidents can happen and things can go wrong sometimes. We are very understanding if you are honest about it.
• To qualify for the self drive insurance you must meet the following criteria:
• Proof of ID
• • Copy of the photocard drivers’ licence (address & ID must be up to date)*
• • Online licence check – check someone’s driving licence information. Please note, DVLA licence checks
• can only be carried out on driving licences issued from mainland UK*
• • Copy of passport if not a UK resident
• • Copy of passport if a UK resident taking the campervan out of the UK
• • Cleared payment through GoBoony
• • Must be between 25 and 75 and have at least 2 years driving experience (Full UK, EU, AU, US, CA, NZ & SA

• • Two, 3 point convictions are acceptable (i.e. 2x SP30’s, 3pts each) without referral
• • Single 4 point offences are acceptable without referral and subject to standard terms.
• • Single 6 point SP30, SP50 and CU80 convictions are acceptable subject to a £100.000 excess. All other 6
• points+ offences will require referral to the insurers.

  We took paul for a weekend to the British GP at silverstone and the van was perfect for the 2 off us. Everything we needed was provided it is so well fitted out. We had many people question us about paul as he looked so good. We enjoyed it so much we are looking to buy our own, that's the effect it had. Collection and drop off were easy and Jason was great at explaining everything, we will definitely use him again for our next road trip.

  We took Paul to Glastonbury Festival it was amazing, such a great campervan, comfy bed, very good shower and great amenities! Jason gave a great handover, everything was clear before we left and hes very friendly with great communication. We cant wait to hire again!

  Fantastic holiday in this van called Paul. Really well thought-out van conversion, and built to a very high standard. Thoughtfully designed and kitted-out, makes this a brilliant van to hire. We spent 3 nights taking him down to Bicester to see the self-build housing estate, which was on Grand Designs, then popped over into Wales and returning via Stoke-on-Trent. We enjoyed using the supplied gas BBQ, the coffee machine, and the supplied welcome pack was a lovely surprise. To be honest we didnt want to give the van back!
