Again at 2.5 miles from Weymouth Beach, Martleaves is set in a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) over 34 acres of scenic countryside adjacent to Chesil Beach and just 300 metres from the sea.
There’s no need to shop off site when staying here, as the farmhouse porch area has free-range rare breed chicken, bantam, duck and goose eggs, homemade marmalade, jam and chutney all for sale, alongside sausages and dry cured bacon from the local butchery. Sizzle it all up under the stars – fire pits are available to hire on site and wood is sold at the farmhouse.
