  Hired out Big Bill this bank holiday weekend with a trip to Anglesey. Booking was very simple and efficient. The camper was clean, in good condition and it had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. We slept very comfortably. Big thank you to Dani & James.   Martyn delivered Boris to the venue and was awesome even though we were late due to traffic. Boris is such a fabulous motorhome with all the facilities you could wish for. People were so envious of us. I would book Boris in a heartbeat. Thank you for allowing us to use it Martyn

  I recently hired a camper van from Daniel and was absolutely delighted with my experience! The van was spotless and had a wonderful ambiance with great lighting. The handover process with Daniel was exceptional; he took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which made our journey incredibly pleasant and smooth sailing. Thank you for such a fantastic adventure we will definitely be returning for more!

  We were generally happy with the motorhome itself. It was spacious enough for a family of five, including three children, and in good driving condition. All the main appliances, battery, fridge, lights, water tank, worked well throughout our trip. There were a couple of minor issues: some of the curtains didnt function properly, and the sofa cushions were noticeably dirty. However, these didnt significantly affect our experience. Unfortunately, we did encounter a major issue with the toilet block, which leaked and caused a persistent odor. This impacted our entire journey, especially with children on board. I trust Kimberley will address this problem so future renters wont face the same inconvenience. Overall, aside from the toilet issue, the motorhome was a good choice and served us well.

  Communication with the friendly owners was excellent. They always replied very quickly and tried to help us with our questions and needs. We were especially grateful for the loan of a baby seat, as we were traveling from abroad and could not bring one on the plane. The handover of the motorhome at the beginning took a bit longer, as the owners needed to show us how everything worked water, toilet, gas, electricity, batteries, equipment, and so on and we also had many questions. The motorhome was clean, well-prepared, and fully equipped with everything we needed, including warm blankets and bed linen for all five members of our family, so we could fully enjoy our holiday around England and Scotland. If any minor issues arose during the trip, the owners were quick to advise and help us. The return handover also went smoothly, as we hadnt caused any serious damage. Many thanks to Maciej and Kate. We can recommend.

  I had a great holiday as Bettie provided what I needed, the camping side of things is very basic but the van is excellent to drive and very comfortable but if you are wanting to be independent and cool all your food etc. then this van is probably not for you. I only wanted to be able to make myself a cup of tea and maybe a pot noodle and for that it was perfect

  Great to drive. A few problems with electrics which owner tried to sort but without being at hook up we could not charge phones which was annoying and various fuses blew. Basic utensils supplied. We used mattress topper from top bed which was very comfy. Good comms with owner. Think if we do it again might go for something a bit higher spec and newer.

  Our family, (2 adults, 2 children 12 & 16 and a large dog), spent our holiday exploring the stunning South West coast of England in a Highwood 5-berth motorhome, and it was an unforgettable adventure. The motorhome gave us the freedom to travel at our own pace, stop in charming seaside towns, and wake up to incredible views right outside our door of lakes with still calm waters with mirror like reflections of the surrounding countryside, and monumental mountains. The coastline offered a mix of dramatic cliffs, sandy beaches, and quaint fishing villages. Highlights included, Chesil beach, Abbotsford botanical gardens, Weymouth, Jurassic Coast, Lands End, St Ives, Tintagel, Bude, and the lighthouse at Highland point (which was closed), and then on in to Wales Lake Bala and Snowdonia National Park. Driving along the coastal roads was scenic, and the motorhome gave us both comfort and flexibility having our kitchen, beds, and space to relax wherever we went. Traveling as a family of 4 in a 5-berth motorhome worked really well. It was cosy at times (challenging), but that added to the fun, and evenings together inside the motorhome after a day of exploring were some of our favourite moments, integrating playing board and card games while parents sipped a glass of prosecco or two. Campsites were easy-ish to find, and the community spirit among other motorhome travellers was welcoming, with the secret wave as you drove past each other :)) Overall, it was a perfect way to experience the South West coast and Wales combining the adventure of the open road and tricky village lanes and country roads, with the comforts of home amenities. We came back with lots of enjoyable memories, a slower pace of life, and a new appreciation for Englands beautiful coastal scenery. Oh yes, the 5 berth Fiat engine motorhome from Rob at Highwood motorhomes did not let us down.
