It was great being able to pull up beside beaches and spend the night in comfort. Van was fine to drive, powerful for any steep bits. The 3/4 bed was fab for two teenagers. The info folder in van has site details, but as the van has all you need, don't need to go on a site, except to empty the loo and fill up water. Used Laxdale on return to Stornoway. Found a spot to park on a beach 5 mins further on, off B895 over the brow of a hill, past an old caravan site, turn next right just before a bridge onto a dirt track. If you park in a drop off space at the ferry, can get strong Cal Mac public WIFI to watch Netflix, if you have an early ferry to catch! Alex was lovely and very chilled.

We had a wonderful time on the island and Alex's van was great and perfect for traveling around. Had all necessary amenities. Thank you Alex!
