Dreaming of sunsets and Star gazing? Looking for a ‘real’ adventure? Going to festivals in style? Or looking to be at one with the wild? Imagine all this whilst driving a true classic, the ‘iconic’ British Land Rover Defender! Indie Belle is our gorgeous 4-seater, 4 sleeper Overland prepared Land Rover Defender 110 TD5. She has been tried and tested with road trips throughout the UK and Europe and now she is ready for your very own Overland adventure. An easy to operate, full length, standing height, pop top roof opens the back up into a light and spacious camper. There is a double bed above the cab suitable for adults or children and the sofa seat in the back folds down into a double bed. She is equipped with all you will need for your camping adventure from the wine fridge to the kitchen sink; you can even have a warm outdoor shower before bed!! To protect you from the elements there is an easy to use pull out side awning. You can choose to go ‘off grid’ with the leisure battery or there is an electric hook up if you want to stop over at campsites. We have a Bluetooth radio and USB ports are also available for charging throughout. All rentals will be kitted out for all your camping needs from camping chairs to wine glasses and books (a full kit list can be provided on booking). Insurance and break down cover are included for your complete piece of mind. All you need for a great time away with the fun and simplicity of a defender. Collection is made from junction 26 on the M5, on the Devon / Somerset border. You can leave your car safely or if you want to arrive by public transport, we can arrange to meet you (for a small charge) and bring you to Indie Belle, with adequate notice. From here you have a great opportunity to explore Dartmoor, Exmoor, Devon, Dorset and Cornwall and all they have to offer. We will be in touch to discuss your rental and any personal requirements that you may have to get the most out of your trip. We will personally meet you and talk you through Indie Belles’ operation manual and any questions you may have about driving a Defender. Driving a defender is an unforgettable experience, it’s not just about the destination but the journey! She loves country lanes over motorways and be prepared for the attention she attracts as other drivers (especially Land Rover drivers) wave and passers-by chat with you about her. Bring your sense of adventure and enjoy a relaxing time away in Indie Belle.

  • You must be able to complete the following (all standard for vehicle rentals)
  • To be aged between 25 and 75
  • To have a minimum of 2 years’ driving experience
  • To have a UK/EU driving licence with address displayed (please contact asap if you have an EU licence)
  • To provide a DVLA check number
  • To provide 2 further proofs of address (1 Utility Bill and 1 other, both with address and dated within 90 days)
  • We also have the following driving licence requirements:
  • You have not had your licence suspended for any period within the last three years
  • You have not had more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction
  • You have not obtained a BA, DD or UT conviction
  • o BA: Disqualified Driver
  • o DD: Reckless/ Dangerous Driving
  • o UT: Theft or Unauthorised Taking
  • We accept the following documents as proof of address:
  • Bank statements including estatements
  • Utility bills (Must have one of these)
  • Council tax bills
  • All of the above must be dated within 90 days of the hire start date and all addresses must match the address displayed on the driving licence
  • The vehicle includes 100 Miles per day mileage limit.
  • Any excess mileage is charged at 40p per mile.
  • Pick up is after 3pm on the day the rental starts.
  • Drop off time is 11am on the final day of the rental.
  • These can often be flexible however, please contact us for more precise times.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £1,000.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
