Hiring rules

  • To ensure everyone has a fantastic experience please follow these simple guidelines during your adventure and upon returning the campervan.
  • 1. All drivers must be over 21 years old with no more than 9 points on their driving licence
  • 2. The campervan will be provided with a full tank of diesel. You can choose to return it with a full tank or alternatively we will refuel, however, charges will apply.
  • 3. We include 300 miles per day in your hire and charge 42p per mile for each subsequent mile over the total mileage allowance for the hire period. For example, a 5day hire includes a 1500 mile allowance so any mileage above this is charged at 42p per mile.
  • 4. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the campervan. A cleaning fee will be charged for any violation.
  • 5. Report any damages or issues immediately and use only the provided equipment. Please refrain from attaching any external devices or equipment.
  • 6. Follow all road rules and speed limits, avoid offroad driving and ensure the campervan is parked in safe, secure locations.
  • 7. Keep the interior clean and free of food debris, use provided amenities responsibly (fridge, heater, USB ports, etc.) and ensure all items (furniture, seats, etc.) are secured while driving. A cleaning fee will apply if the campervan is returned in an unsatisfactory condition.
  • 8. Dispose of all trash in designated bins. Do not leave any waste inside the campervan.
  • 9. Return the campervan by the agreedupon time. Late returns may incur additional charges.
  • 10. Remove all personal belongings. We are not responsible for any items left behind.
  • 11. Return all keys, manuals, and documents provided with the campervan.
  • 12. Collection time is 3pm and dropoff time is 11am

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £1,000.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 20 and 45 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Coming from Netherland we were very pleased that everything was as promissed. Going from central Exeter to pickup the camper Van was easy by train. Exeter is a very good place to start the journey. Communication with Bernie was prompt. That gave us convedance. The journey along the west coast was Amazing. We love the country and its people.

    We took Blue Horizon to Glastonbury 2025 and it worked out great , Bernie did a great handover and was nice to deal with I would recommend this

I'd like to share the freedom and fun of campervans. Go where you like when you like. We are located in Exeter which is a gateway to the Southwest with arguably the best beaches in the UK. You can leave your vehicle in our protected outdoor parking or you can choose to travel by train or air. We are conveniently located right next door to Marsh Barton railway station and St Davids train station and airport are just a short taxi ride away so you have the option to leave your car at home. If you've not been to the Southwest or used a campervan before you are in for a real treat!
