• 5.Any and all damage must be reported immediately, when, where and how will be required.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £100.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

  Unable to have a handover as Darryn said he was being asked to leave the site. Surprised to learn this as other van owners were waiting for their hirers as I arrived. I arrived as Darryn was leaving so we didnt meet. He said there was no access to water so unable to fill the tank or flush. Van was set up, including the awning and furniture. In the high heat it was a welcome sight. The water supply was around 50 metres from the caravan so I was able to fill things up on arrival. The caravan was dirty; spillages, crumbs, cup ring marks, other people's half used bathroom products left, mold on the fridge door seals. Zoflora had been squirted in the toilet but other cleaning products were placed on the counter (for me?) I had to clean all surfaces, cupboards and sink before using them. The kettle was in the sink with some water in (despite Darryn advising water not available) so can only assume this was from a previous hirers. However, the water was full of hard scale/kettle lining. Despite trying to clean it out, I couldn't remove it so the kettle wasn't useable at all. We weren't able to open the skylight and the lock for the flush was broken. We were able to open it to fill, however. These issues were reported to Darryn and Mel within a few hours (except for the skylight..this wasn't fed back). Melissa advised the caravan had been 'cleaned' by a third party company. However, this wasn't just a poor cleaning job. It definitely hadn't been cleaned, at all. The caravan, itself, was functional and mostly served its purpose once I had cleaned it. Such a shame as my dealings with Darryn and Mel had been really good up to and during the stay.

  Weve just got home from a fantastic long weekend in Blue Betty. The van was clean, delivered and collected at a time that we requested and everything was really well explained to us by Darryn. Thank you so much, we will consider renting again in the future.

  Brilliant caravan and communication was excellent. Darryn and Melissa were helpful and delivered the caravan to our site with no problem.

  Melissas communication is exceptional - clear, swift and gracious. The caravan is clean and comfortable - and came with a little pot of hot chocolate, that the kids really loved (thanks Melissa!). Melissa arrived at the agreed set up time and was able to swiftly get the van settled and showed me all the bits I needed to know. And at collection, again she arrived at the agreed time, reset and removed the caravan swiftly and with minimum fuss. The only downside always that the awning was unexpectedly damaged right before our hire and we werent able to make use of it - but the weather held, and Melissa was both apologetic and did her best to offer an alternative, so it wasnt too much of a bother. All in all, I would recommend Melissa and Darryn! (Thanks guys!)
