Clara is our beautifully appointed 2024 VW two tone campervan in eggshell blue and white. Clara can seat 5 passengers. She is a joy to drive with an automatic transmission and a rear reversing camera for those tight spaces! Sat Nav is included using Carplay. Clara sleeps up to 4 adults. She has a sink, gas stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, heated living space and plenty of storage. There is even an outdoor shower! She has solar panels on the roof so you can camp off grid for several days! Included is an awning so you can dine alfresco! We supply you with 4 camping chairs and a picnic table which you can set up under the awning. Kitchen essentials are included. For a small fee of £20 you can hire our portable toilet, which can be used inside the van or outside in its own provided utility tent. We provide mattress toppers but you will need to provide your own bedding and towels. Clara comes included with her own fully comprehensive insurance.

Additional information

Free off road parking is available for your own car Pick up time is normally 15:00 and drop off time is 11:00 but can be changed with an early pick up fee or late drop off fee of £50.00 each, subject to availability. Please let us know if there are any additional drivers or if you are planning to travel abroad.

Hiring rules

Hirers must comply with all our insurance policy requirements including proof of address
Hirers must have held a full, clean UK driving licence for more than 24 months
Hirers must have no more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last 3 years.
A full physical check on hiring/returning the vehicle is required as a condition of hire
No smoking allowed
No travel abroad allowed

Vehicle to be returned in a clean and tidy condition or a cleaning fee of up to £80.00 will be applied
One small to medium sized dog is permitted
There is a £50.00 penalty for a late return
The campervan must be returned with a full tank of fuel or a £15.00 refuelling charge will be applied plus the cost of the fuel top up
If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, use the information provided during the handover to call the breakdown service provider. You should also call me and then Camplify on 0330 808 1811.
Trips of up to a maximum of 1000 miles/week are permitted. Above this, and you will be charged .45p/mile from your bond after completion of the trip.
All tolls and traffic penalties to be met by the hirer
The maximum weight the upper poptop bed in the campervan is 150Kg
The poptop must be closed while driving
Turn off the gas at the bottle before driving
The table in the door must be properly stowed to avoid scratching the van
The awning must be taken down in windy conditions or overnight
The living area heating must be off while driving
The hob cover must be covered in the provided foil when cooking
Avoid kerbing the wheels to prevent damage to the alloys
Take care not to close the passenger door when the fuel filler cap is open
No off road driving

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £750.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel up to 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 20 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
