Hiring rules

  • Personal Safety
  • • While we take safety seriously, please note that it is the responsibility of the hirer/parent or guardian to ensure the safety of children while in or around the vehicle, particularly while using the upper bunks.
  • • Seat belts are fitted.
  • • Do not use the gas stove to heat the van and always have a door/window open when using the stove to cook.
  • • Do not leave electrical plugin heaters on when the vehicle is unattended or overnight when you are sleeping.
  • • Please note there may be knives included as part of the cooking equipment so please do not allow children to open the drawers or containers unsupervised.
  • The Hirer:
  • • Is liable for any cost incurred for speeding or parking fines, congestion charges or any other offences during the hire period.
  • • Not to drive under the influence of drink or drugs.
  • • Is responsible for the vehicle on hire to you.
  • • Is liable for any damage to the vehicle, contents or extras hired during the hire period.
  • • Shall not carry more passengers than the seating capacity of the vehicle, as defined in the vehicle specifications or allow the vehicle to be overloaded
  • • Driver and passengers to wear the seat belts.
  • • Shall not use the vehicle for hire or reward.
  • • Shall not take the vehicle outside the UK Mainland without consent.
  • • Any breakdown or damage caused by you, will be at your own expense.
  • Vehicle Conditions
  • Before commencement of hire, the hirer is required to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the premises and complete & sign waiver form
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when hired, with the interior and appliances/utensils clean.
  • Charges will be applied for the cleaning of dirty or stained carpets or upholstery.
  • Fuel
  • The hirer will be liable if incorrect fuel type is used.
  • The fuel level should be the same when returning the vehicle, charges will be made to cover fuel top up.
  • The hirer will be responsible for the regular checking of oil and water levels, and the use of the correct type of fluids.
  • Vehicle keys
  • Vehicle Keys must never be left unattended or left in vehicle. The hirer will be responsible for the cost of replacement keys, charge of £300.00 plus recovery charges.
  • Vehicle Weight
  • It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure the gross vehicle weight does not exceed 750kg
  • Smoking
  • No smoking in hire vehicle or awning.
  • Full T&C's will be issued upon confirmation of booking!
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £750.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had an amazing trip in the Cotswolds in Floki! The van has absolutely everything you could need for a trip away. Shaun and Katie made the whole process so easy and were brilliant at explaining everything to us. Couldnt recommend it enough!
