Hiring rules
- We want you to have an amazing trip, while keeping the van in great condition for future travellers. Please take a moment to review the following house rules:
- 🚫 No Smoking in or around the vehicle
- 🐾 No pets are allowed in or around the van.
- ⛽ Fuel must be full on return
- 🧼 Please return the van and all associate items in a clean and dry condition, as received. Not doing so may result in additional cleaning fees. Please only cook with the door open, and please no strong smelling (eg seafood, curries) or oily foods.
- 🕓 Collection and return times are fixed. Let us know ASAP if you’re running late. Additional charges may apply.
- 🛣️ The mileage limit is 1250 miles per week, averaged over the hire (179 miles per day). Extra mileage charged at 29p per mile.
- 🏕️ Official campsites and paved roads only. No offroad driving or festivals unless preapproved.
- 🛠️ Breakdowns & Incidents: Please report any issues immediately – we’re here to help.
- Children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times in and around the van.
- The hirer is responsible for the van and safety of those using it during the hire period, including any damage. Please be aware that while we allow for wear and tear, this refers only to gradual wear over time (not dents, scratches, cuts, breakages, burns, stains, etc).
- Insurance is included, and full details are available. Of note, drivers must be aged 2575, have held a UK license for 2 years, have no more than one fault incident or claim in the last 3 years, and max 3 penalty points.
- Address, license checks and acceptance of The Newbury Camper Company hire Terms and Conditions will need to be completed in advance of the hire date (please contact before booking if any issues or concerns). Any excess or other loss not covered by the insurance policy is the responsibility of the hirer (for example, the insurer will not cover claims resulting when the driver is above the legal limit for alcohol, unauthorised drivers, or personal possessions). Some items shown in photos are optional extras, and may vary from those shown.

Bond
The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £500.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.
Cancellations
Moderate
- Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
- Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
