Meet Big Blue, my much loved camper van. I bought it as a project a few years ago and poured a lot of time and care into refitting, all while using it frequently with my kids. It's a bit quirky, but it's incredibly practical for three people, and we've explored so much of Britain and even ventured abroad in it. Being a long-wheelbase, extra-high-top Ford Transit, it offers plenty of head height and ample space to move around inside. The van comfortably sleeps three, featuring a spacious 6 foot 2 double bed and a cozy 6 foot single bed underneath. You'll enjoy the convenience of hot and cold running water, along with abundant battery power, solar panels, and hook-up capability for off-grid adventures or campsite stays. Cooking is easy with the induction hob and multi-function air fryer. It's equipped with a generous 55 litre fresh water tank, and two roof fans ensure excellent airflow and cooling. Big Blue offers plenty of storage, including a dedicated garage area and plenty of drawers for your clothes and food. The fridge is permanently on for your convenience, and a very efficient diesel heater will keep you warm and comfortable, no matter the weather. It also includes a compost toilet. For those uneven parking spots ramps are provided, and a decent-sized awning offers perfect shade from the sun or shelter from the rain. Plus, there’s a dining area with a table for meals and relaxation. Truly, Big Blue is more than just a van; it's a home on wheels, eagerly awaiting its next travellers to create unforgettable new memories on their journey. It's ready to take you on your next adventure!

Dad, professional, adventurer. I love to get away in the van, more often in a field full of friends and family these days but occasionally for adventures in the hills. The family loves the van but it's a shame to have it sitting around when we're not using it so it's great to be able to let others enjoy it.
