Meet Padfoot 🐕 A custom-built campervan with lots of character, pairing a sleek finish with all your modern amenities. This campervan is built for an active lifestyle and has served me well on trips into the great outdoors, from weekend surf breaks in Cornwall, skiing trips in the French Alps or just a quick escape into the countryside for a BBQ under the stars. Padfoot comes fully equipped with thoughtful features to make your trip as comfortable as possible, including double fan-powered roof vents, dimmable lighting to set the mood, a full-length mirror, soft-close drawers, and a range of basic camping essentials ready to go. There’s also a 100L water tank, exterior lighting for those late evenings, outdoor tables and chairs, a portable BBQ, and a reverse camera to make parking a breeze. It features a fully equipped kitchen, including a fridge freezer, running water and a double gas hob stove, perfect for whipping up a hearty breakfast or a post-surf coffee. The double memory foam bed comfortably sleeps two and there is a retractable seating area for meals. Opening the rear double doors allows the opportunity to take in stunning views while eating, drinking or entertaining. Sunset views are optional but advised. There is also a built-in cold water shower and optional toilet available to hire. Want to stay connected? Padfoot has USB ports for charging electrical devices such as phones, tablets and cameras, as well as main power via the inverter. If the weather isn't on your side, Padfoot has you covered with built-in ceiling-mounted Bluetooth speakers, a flat screen TV, and charging points for your laptop or tablet so you can snuggle up with a cup of tea and stick a movie on—all powered by solar panels and a backup battery system. The campervan boasts tonnes of internal storage that can easily accommodate active gear of all kinds, from climbing equipment to surfboards and everything in between. Pick up 11am/drop off 2pm. Hiring rules

  • Pick up 11am/Return Time 2pm.
  • Please return the campervan at the agreed time. Late returns may incur additional charges,
  • A extension package can be added as a additional extra (van package) depending on availability.
  • Fuel Policy
  • Return the van with the same fuel level as when collected (usually full). A refuelling charge will apply if not.
  • Cleanliness
  • Please return Padfoot in a tidy condition:
  • All rubbish removed
  • Surfaces wiped down
  • Dishes washed and put away
  • A cleaning fee may apply if the van is returned excessively dirty.
  • Water & Waste
  • Empty and clean the toilet (if hired)
  • Refill the water tank to full
  • Equipment Check
  • Please ensure all items are returned:
  • Outdoor tables and chairs
  • Portable BBQ (cleaned after use)
  • Cooking equipment and utensils
  • Any hired extras
  • Missing or damaged items may be charged.
  • Interior Care
  • No smoking inside the van
  • Use provided storage to prevent damage during travel

  • Please report any damage or issues honestly—minor things happen, and transparency helps avoid larger problems later.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £700.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Great trip to the South, the van is very nice and well designed. Solar panels were very useful. We did not use the shower but in case you need that while camping in the wild it's also a very cool feature.
