Welcome to Albie our amazing brand new (May 2024) campervan and adventure friend! He’s an Elldis Sunseeker CV40 ideal to sleep 2 people. We hope you’ll enjoy spending time with him as much as we do. He’s easy to drive, spacious, and very very comfortable to live and sleep in on your adventure. He’s a real home from home with all the touches and comforts you could wish for including central heating system, lovely light filled spaces, an integral outdoor awning and dining furniture plus espresso machine, full sized fridge with freezer and gas/electric oven. Not to mention comfortable bathroom with built in loo and hot shower. Whilst driving you will enjoy all the modern features of a luxury vehicle. A powerful 2.3litre engine and Automatic 9 speed gearbox for a super-smooth ride without unnecessary gear changing. Cruise control, Sound system with Bluetooth compatibility for Maps, Spotify etc . 20 inch digital TV with WiFi compatibility, Aircon, Electric windows. Reversing camera. Fixed easy wind in/out external sun awning. Full 360 degrees black out blinds and fly screens for total privacy. Sliding entrance door with window, and flyscreen and rain deflector. Rear double-barn door, with central locking - opening up the sleeping and relaxing area to the outdoors. Central heating and Hot water controls, with both electric 25m mains hook-up cable and LPG gas. Full kitchen with gas and electric hob and gas oven, kitchen sink, prep top and full fridge with integrated freezer. Comfortable adaptable seating with space underneath and upper cabinets for ample storage of larger, bulky items. Solar panels, Smoke alarm and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm. Hiring rules

  • No smoking in the van.
  • Insurance requirements: Hirer age restricted to 25 70 years; Driving licences restricted to UK, EU, EEA, AU and NZ; No more than 6 points in the past 5 years for nonmajor offences.
  • Please return the van in the same cleanliness condition it was provided in or you may incur a £30.00 excess cleaning fee.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £500.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Moderate

  • Cancel earlier than 31 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 11 and 30 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit.
  • Cancellations less than 11 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Paul is a wonderful host and made a concerted effort to ensure our time away in Bertie was as comfortable as possible, taking extra time to show us how everything works. Bertie had only 13k miles and felt like new, beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom function really well, leaving us able to cook full meals and avoid using shower blocks etc. Couldn't have been any better experience. Thank you.
