Situated on the Tamara Way. Deep in the South West Devon Countryside in the most magical valley lives our Wilderness Wagon, A countryside escape away from it all. Set in the remarkably pretty Tamar Valley. Our 3 berth motorhome is perfect for a quiet break in the wilderness. On our farm, parked in a field overlooking the river Tamar. We can deliver to a site for you in Devon or Cornwall, but our van is not available for self drive hire. Having a fixed double bed at the rear of the van, a bench seat in the dinette that converts to a single bed plus storage space. The living area is spacious with 3 hobs, an oven, a 3 way (gas, electric, 12v) fridge with small freezer and a table which seats 3. The passengers seat also rotates round to face the living area. Wilderness Wagon is equipped with full set of crockery and cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and kitchen utensils. The separate bathroom has a shower, sink and cassette toilet. Heating and hot water is provided by a gas boiler which also heats the van through a central heating system. The motorhome is powered by electric hook up or a 12v battery system that allows lighting, boiler, water pump and electrical power points.

The fixed memory foam double bed is in the rear of the van and is very comfortable. Things to do around and about. Fishing The River Tamar is one of the best salmon and sea trout rivers in the southwest of England, with a recorded catch of 298 in 2008. There is excellent fly water on its middle and lower reaches fishing from June to October. Plus sea bass and other fish. Walking We are perfectly situated in the Tamar River with plenty of public footpaths on our door step. Explore the local surroundings, great views and interesting wild life. Use the grounds or the local area to take your group out after dark, to explore your surroundings under the stars. Small boating or kayaking: You can hire a Kayak. Please ask for details as Kayaks need to be booked in advance. Bring your own small boat or kayak and enjoy the stunning view of nature. Our cottage has exclusive access to water. With our on-going work for the green canopy scheme, and to help reduce your travel carbon footprint, we would be happy if you would like to bring a small tree to plant.

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £1,000.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Moderate

Cancel up to 30 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 30 and 10 days before the start of booking and receive 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 10 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
