Link is a 2002 2.5tdi transporter T4. It comes with a sun canopy, night heater, fully equipped with oak counter tops and sink, fridge and wine rack. - single and double portable cooking stoves & gas provided. A mains electric hook-up cable is included for when you’re on a site, making use of the 240v sockets. For wild camping a 12V leisure battery is fitted to provide electricity for usb use only. Plenty of lights for reading and usb sockets. Lots of headroom, especially when the roof is up, pop top roof can also be used as a sleeping area. Back windows are tinted and are also fitted with blackout curtains. Camping equipment includes a small foldable table and camping chairs. Crockery, cutlery, pans, cups, utensils, jetboil (makes 2 cups of boiling water in under 2 mins) and portable cooking stove. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit included. Optional extras include portable toilet, and a poled tent/living area for extra room. Driving licence & 2 x proofs of address are required for insurance purposes. All documents need to have same name and address' , also need to be dated within 90 days of date of hire.

No more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years
Have at least 2 years driving experience (Full UK or EU Licence types)

Service fee: £10.00

Bond

The owner of this listing provides their own hiring insurance. The accident excess for this van is £500.00 per damage event and is managed by Camplify. The owner may carry out their own additional driving licence and security checks.

Cancellations

Moderate

Cancel up to 30 days before the start of the booking and receive a full refund less the cancellation processing fee.
Cancel between 30 and 10 days before the start of booking and receive 90% credit.
Cancellations less than 10 days before start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

Great trip to the Lake District. A lovely van with lots of extras offered ..... fridge, memory foam mattress, living space tent (which we didn't take as we had our own awning but forgot the poles!). Tom gave a thorough handover of how to use the van and it's equipment. Unfortunately, on the first night we had a torrential storm and had a leak from the roof. Tom came up immediately with the living space tent, which he put up to keep us dry, then set about finding and fixing the leak, which was from the pop top seal. He also brought us a spare mattress, towels etc and all of this was done without fuss and good humour. A leak like this can happen to any well maintained van but the way he dealt with the situation was efficient and professional. More rain the next 2 days but the repair meant no more leaks. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic adventure in Link the T4 camper. Tom has specced the van wonderfully and supplied everything that we needed for a great trip. Excellent communication and service - highly recommended.
