Lottie the VW LT35

Lottie is a lovingly crafted home from home with no expense spared on the interior conversion that was completed just 2 years ago to keep everyone warm, cosy and comfortable on the road. She has 5 belted seats, 2 with ISOFIX connections and will sleep 5 adults comfortably with 2 proper double beds, one of which comes down from the ceiling with the press of a button, and then a clever fold out single bed up front. Perfect for a couple, a family or a group of friends looking to explore the UK. Power - this is a totally off grid van with 2 big solar panels and a powerful lithium leisure battery that powers the many internal usb charging points, lights and appliances. The leisure battery charges whilst you drive from the Victron battery to battery charger connected to the starter. Never a need to plug in at campsites. Kitchen - the spacious extendable worktop includes 2 burners linked to the gas locker. Unlike most vans, there is also a fantastic gas powered oven to expand your cuisine options. The 50L modern compressor fridge/freezer fits a big shop and there is also a big chest electric coolbox below the bench seats which is great for beers and drinks. It has a large sink for washing up which has hot water from the boiler and plentiful supply from the 80litres capacity water tank. Roof vents can be popped open above the kitchen area to ventilate the space if you need. All cutlery and crockery, pots pans, tea towel, sponges, washing liquid etc is provided. Sleeping - 5 adults can sleep in this van. The lower double bed converts from the sofas in the rear lounge area to a wide 160x190cm bed. The upper double bed stays up at ceiling level for when you want to use the lounge/dining space below, and then comes down when you press a button. This is 140x190cm with a super comfy memory foam mattress. Curtains and window covers all round sure it's nice and dark for sleeping into the morning and you have privacy, helped by the tinted windows. The smart diesel heater can be controlled by your phone to come on at a set time in the morning which is a nice way to wake up. Shower and Toilet - you'll be thankful to hear there is a toilet on board so no need to brave the cold air when you're in need at night! The shower is here too with water kept nice and hot by the Truma boiler, with enough for 6 showers before you need to think about refilling the tank. An air vent will pull out any steamy air or smell. Lounge and Dining - The front chairs can be turned around and a table can be propped up for dining/working, however it's collapsible to ensure there's plenty of space inside to move around. There's also a cosier option to eat on the sofas of the rear lounge area where there's lights and the smart diesel heater doing it's magic as well as a solid table. Whatever vibe you're feeling! Storage - inside there are too many cubby holes, drawers and cupboards to list for storing everything you could possibly need. External - There is an easy to set up awning for the side of the van gives a lovely space for shade with the kitchen worktop extending to give more table space that can be used outside. 5 camp chairs can be provided along with an external table and if requested a big tent extension with bedroom sections as you can see in the pictures. Driving - driving is no stress in Lottie, she pulls well and you can cruise up to 70mph on the motorway no problem, although we often keep it at 60mph to save fuel. The engine has been well looked after and she runs straight and sound. Gears click in smoothly, no slipping. Brakes are solid and recently serviced. Rear and front cameras are really useful for parking. Fully comprehensive insurance and breakdown cover for UK including onward travel and hotel costs as required is all included in the price! I've been renting vans successfully for many years now so I know what people want and know what is key for people to have a great trip. I'm a very proactive and helpful host, I do my all to make sure no renter comes back disappointed. Also some goodies can be included in the van on request, just let us know what you wish to have in the van! - BBQ / fire pit - Pillows / Duvets - Sheets - Additional chairs - Outdoor table - Rugs - Tarpaulin - Hammocks - 5 man inflatable dinghy - very comfy, like a big sofa with oars - 3 man inflatable canoe. Advanced dropstitch design and very stable even with 3 people and some day luggage in there. - Climbing equipment can be rented in addition to the van if you're looking to get on the rocks. Bouldering mat or ropes, harnesses and quickdraws etc.
